This was a super fun project and came with everything so I could jump right in. Sadly, my dog passed away shortly after I started so I packed it up and forgot about it. Then just a little while ago, I pulled it out and wanted to get back to it only to discover my paints had dried up. So I went to go order a replacement set on their website, but my painting had been discontinued. I called and left a message, they called me back the next day and said that yes, that my original painting was discontinued but they'd send me a new one free of charge! That is very thoughtful and certainly not the norm these days. While it's tough letting go of the previous painting, it's really wonderful of them to send me a new painting free of charge. It seems like everyone else nickles and dimes their customers these days so this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you ledgebay for being so great! Highly recommended.

This was the first paint by numbers I have ever purchased - for my wife. We were nervous because we've heard a lot of horror stories about the paint coming dry or the picture being too small, however, this one has blown our expectations. The fabric is unique and the paints came in perfect condition, the brushes are perfect for the detail you need to apply. This does take a while, my wife spent 3+ hours and only has the top left hand corner done but there are a lot of small areas and different color paints close together but it looks really good. Highly recommend this product and are impressed with the quality! TIP: make sure to double coat the white as the number slightly pops through with 1 coat, also make sure to wait a few minutes between colors to make sure they are dry and don't smear into other colors. My only complaint is that I don't have paper weights or anything to clip it too and it came rolled up, I have yet to get it to lay flat on my table but when you do sections at a time it isn't a huge deal and we plan to frame it later anyway!

First time ordering from this company. Good quality canvas and paints, nice design. One problem is the consistency of the paint, which is very thick. I lost track of how many drops of flow aid I used (20+ in some, I'm sure) to get it thin enough to flow properly, and then I have to keep adding more as I paint. When they are thin enough, the paint quality is good with nice coverage, though. The design itself is pretty detailed. Would not recommend for a beginner.

I bought this to give me something to do while I recovered from hernia surgery. I don't remember the last time I did anything associated with paint by number or any painting kit (novice). This is not something to do in a rush as there are some sections that are very small (.5 mm x 5 mm). The kit came with 4 brushes and I have not had any issues with flopping a lot of paint over the lines because of the brush (but I'm not perfect). Sometimes, the paint does get thick but just as mentioned in the instructions, I just add a drop or two of water and mix with a toothpick. Problem solved. There is a lot of painting to this kit. My guess is close to 40 - 50 hours of painting but I started in the areas that have large areas of the same color. I'm pretty sure it will be closer to 70 -80 hours but again, I'm a novice at this. I'm glad I got it. It has kept me busy during the recovery. I don't paint when I have pain from the surgery though as I've usually taken medication and a little drowsy. At this time, I will more than likely get another kit from the same vendor (Ledgebay). The kit is not very expensive and seems complete. My only fear is that I will need additional paint (extra full paint set for $10). I plan on updating after I finish.

I received the “Road Home” set with gummy congealing paints in several colors and one color dried up solid. I did my best with what I had, watering down some of the partially dried ones and substituted with paints from another kit because I really loved the design. About halfway through it was clear to me that the paint I had wasn’t going to be enough. It was then sold out on amazon and the Ledgebay website. I emailed the company explaining the problem and they told me I could purchase additional paint when it came back in stock about 10 days later. So I found it in stock here on amazon and paid $10 more even though the issue was really that adequate supplies weren’t given with the original kit. And lo and behold - the replacement paints I received that are supposedly for “The Road Home” are not at all the same. In my picture I posted, the original 18 colors are shown at the top, and the replacement colors are on the bottom. Though there are 27 pods of paint, there aren’t that many colors that overlap. The ones that are the same color are numbered differently. This is infuriating! I’ve spent so many hours painting this and it stinks to not have the ability to have quality paint or enough of it.

This is the most challenging pbn I have done. Tons of tiny spaces, but i love it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because 2/5 rows of containers of paint were completely dried up. Luckily, i have many of the colors from other kits I have done.

There is nothing better to get you in the mood for Christmas than painting a beautiful Christmas scene, It takes you back to your childhood when you look out the window and dream of santa arriving with presents. This would make the perfect gift to make the cold winter nights pass by more quickly.
