Great Jurassic Park movie trilogy!
I watched the first Jurassic Park movie back when it first came out in 1993. But both the second and third movies, I never did see until now in 2025. All three movie play well as they should. Audio is great

Jurassic Park Trilogy 4K...the way it should have been done the first time
Tonight was my first viewing of the newest release of the ATMOS enabled Jurassic Park. Since I was a child, I never outgrew my desire to be a paleontologist when I grew up or my fascination with prehistoric life. Going to the Natural History Museum in NY was always a huge treat for me and I never grew tired of the place.Unfortunately, on my first day of college the counselor tried to give me a ton of math classes to take on my way to being a paleontologist. Having flunked trigonometry twice, that was the end of that career. So here I was watching the first Jurassic Park from the newly remastered and remixed trilogy collection. I remember seeing it for the first time in the theater and as much as I loved it, I was angry that they left so many parts from the book out of the film. This new release does not add any new scenes that were originally deleted, but there really is a significant improvement in both the video imaging and,. especially so, the audio remix.Video...I do have the previous 4K Collection and I did notice an improvement in both contrast and small details. The whole film tonight appeared brighter and more forward in its presentation. That is probably not the best way to describe it. This new 4K transfer has increased detailing under any light conditions, darker scenes or brighter day time scenes. Details of skin whether it be a dinosaur or a character's face are clearly delineated . The entire film was free of any distracting smears or artifacts of any kind. In forest settings where foliage is a major factor in the foreground or background, there can be a tendency for the video to produced a stair stepped aberration from here or there. Fortunately, there was none of that on this release.Audio... If they failed to remix the audio for the first 4K collection, at least they wised up for this one. The ATMOS audio mix was great with complete immersion for both the music soundtrack and all the foley fx that play such an important part of films such as this. The dinosaur's roars down to the newly born Velociraptor squeal are real enough to be in the room with you. The surrounds, front, back and sides are all actively used.I really enjoyed this watch. I know most folk, including me, do not like to double dip on what is essentially the same film, but the lure of the dinos got to me this time and I have the other two in the trilogy to watch as well as purchasing the second trilogy due out soon.
