works fine for my special application
I bought these so as to use them for a "soft start" on a DC to DC converter. They seem to do the job, are easy to connect, and inexpensive.

Product fit and worked as required, AC system back to operating properly and price point could not be beat.

Works well, does what it's supposed to do. But for how long?
The last time I replaced the delay timer in our A/C compressor unit was exactly two years ago. I had used this exact same product with a different vendor's name imprinted on it. It lasted two years only whereas the original part had functioned well (under the same conditions) for over 8 years. We will see how long this new replacement lasts. In any event it works well for the time being.

Instructions are clear, but easy to fry. Best to have a pro install.
I tested one, and it worked as described. When power is applied to timer, the output is delayed for the time set with the dial. Except that I had 21VAC connected to one side, without a load. When the timer switched on, the genie left the board, and the timer stopped working. I dissected timer in an attempt to repair. Seems like a discrete tranny was fried, but a solid resin coating sealed everything, so no repair possible. Fortunately, I got 3 timers.

Excellent Time Delay Circuit Controller
This is a great low cost easy to wire time delay circuit controller. When power is applied to the input, the time delay begins. After the time delay is complete, the load energizes and remains energized as long as power is applied. The control is reset by removing power during or after the time delay period. Fantastic product. Used as a maximum off cycle timer in an ice cream machine and works great under large loads. 6 months and counting.
