Works well with Anker Solix C300 DC and Starlink Mini
A great piece of kit. I bought this to power a Starlink Mini via an Anker Solix C300 DC when camping off grid. There’s so many 100W portable solar panels available I had no idea which one to choose so went with one of the lower priced ones on Prime Day. It was over GBP100 cheaper than the Anker own-brand one. So far so good. I’m seeing 85-90w in direct sunshine and 20-25w when cloudy which is more than enough to stop the Solix battery from running down. I’m not sure what I was expecting but the panels are kind of a fabric material. It ships with the solar connector that the Solix C300DC requires. I believe quite a few of the other panels require the connector to be purchased separately. It also has USB C and USB A connectors so you can charge a phone or tablet directly. Other things to know: it has two foldout legs at the back so you can angle it to the sun (some of the other cheaper panels don’t). It doesn’t have a carry case but folds up magnetically and has handles so I don’t think one is needed. Apparently it is IP65 rated which should mean it can withstand rain showers, but I have my doubts and won’t risk it. Assume rain = no sun so wouldn’t be using it in the rain anyway. There’s a useful zip pocket at the back to hold cables, although the zip is poor quality and will probably break. When I first plugged it into the Solix it didn’t seem to recognise the solar input, however it was actually charging. Every time since the Solix recognises the solar input straightaway. On a related note you’ll need a dedicated USB C cable to power the Starlink Mini from the Solix. Overall, it’s great for the price.

charges but slow
woke up, bright sunny day, right lets test the charger. 10 am, mobile has 45%. set up panels in direct sun, hooked up phone...... 12.30, phone now 67%.......2pm now 80% .......finally 100% and its only 4.15 pm . it only took 6 hours 15 for this 15w charger to charge a mobile 55%. not overly impressed , my big blue 14w did a 70% charge in 4 hrs on a stightly overcast day. but at least it charged so i will use big blue for full charging and this for topping off or small charge jobs.

Great portable solar panel for charging.
A great folding portable solar panel. Quite hefty and sturdy and with a set of legs to stand it up on, it's a good companion to camping, etc. to charge your phones or other gadgets on the move. I was able to get a get percentage of the stated watts out of it on recent sunny British days. Standard MC4 connectors so you can use it with most solar appliances too, and it comes with an adaptor cable for common DC connectors for DC fridges and battery packs. Worked great, and the panels are quite sturdy enough to stand up to a bash or a gust or wind or the children tripping over them. The panels themselves are solid and sealed so they aren't going to bend or be worried by a bit of rain. A good price for what it is (not much more than a 12V roof panel of the same wattage), and easy enough to use, but you wouldn't want to be carrying it around all day because the build means that it starts to weigh you down a little. Was able to put my MC4 tester on it directly and it's VOC and wattage were as stated. Great product.

Perfect On The Go Solar Charging Panels.
This is ideal for using when your attending things like a festival or a camping trip. With this clever solar device you are able to charge your mobile or tablet wherever you are. The charging panels are lightweight and fold flat for easy storage and travelling, so they will not get in your way at all and become bothersome. I have used this a few times now and it charges my iPhone all as it should, of course being only solar powered, do not expect fast charging as it’s just not powerful enough to achieve that but it does indeed slowly charge your devices and well, that is good enough for anyone. Especially in a emergency or anything. Looking at the solar panel it does look well made and put together. I would definitely own one of these as it is not relied upon electric sockets to work and you never know when you might need it. So for that it is a device to keep!

An expensive paperweight
I bought this before going on a 2-month trek across Spain. I did not take it as I left it in the sun for two whole days to test, and it did not have a single drop of energy absorbed.

power to weight ratio
Will require very precise placement and sun near the equator to get 15W but had 13.2 so far so that's not bad

Pair this with a powerbank for an awesome camping set up
This works great. Super simple design, just fold out the panels, plug in a USB and charge whatever device you want. It's really well made, light and compact, and works well even without direct sunlight. When you pair this with a powerbank, you've got a fantastic camping setup. You can easily charge a powerbank during the day, and then charge multiple phones and tablets, power lights, etc during the night. You can just place it on the ground or hang it up, if its going to rain it's probably better to hag it up, although it is IP67 certified. Just an awesome little gadget all round.
