Method Deodorant, Cedar + Cypress, 24 Hour Odor Protection, 2.65 oz

For 10 years, I have been in a quest for “the perfect natural deodorant.” 2 years ago, I found it—or so I thought. As the prices continued to increase, I had to go back to sampling. I love method! The scent is mild, protection works (may have to apply a couple of times, which is normal for natural deodorants)…. But the price! It’s half the price of my previous product and I like it more.

Goes on almost like a lotion, which I enjoy since I can get dry skin. It smells good, not overpowering, and I don't stink at the end of the day! It lasts all day! Even on work out days.

It smells good, works great, doesn’t stain your clothes & is cost friendly. I actually love this deodorant but kept getting alternating swollen lymph nodes in my armpits which resolved when I switched products :( There must be an ingredient that I’m reactive to, so I found an EWG-verified replacement that doesn’t cause any issues for me. Otherwise, it’s great.

Okay…..let me just be honest, I am, always have been, and always will be, a stinky armpit girl. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on antibacterial soaps, charcoal scrubs, apple cider vinegar sprays, probiotics, acids, benzoyl peroxide washes, armpit detox clay masks, not to mention prescription sweat blockers, clinical, drugstore and natural deodorants and antiperspirants. I have anxiety induced and hormonal sweats (we all know stress & hormone sweat stinks far worse than workout or heat sweat) and I am also extremely temperature sensitive (I keep my business AND home between 60-68 degrees and have crazy high electric bills), and the only deodorants I’ve found that work without reapplying are this, the Daily Zen Green Tea scent, and Little Seed Farm. I hate that you have to apply LSF with your fingers, so having this one in a stick form makes life so much easier. The reason this works so well is due to the high level of magnesium hydroxide. That combined with a crisp, clean, spa like scent kills any offensive BO smell. I also have the shea butter and rice milk scent which is amazing as well- subtle, cozy coconut vanilla like scent perfect for winter. I do still smell the tiniest amount of stink late in the day or the next morning with that scent whereas absolutely zero with the Daily Zen version.

The texture was fine, but the scent was faint and not pleasant; too much cedar, I think. By contrast, we liked the body wash in the cedar and cypress scent.
