They really did a great job of designing these, the finished product looks like any toy car, you can hardly tell it is a Lego set. As with many of these Lego sets there will be some hard parts even for adults but feel even kids half the recommended age eventually will figure it out especially with the supplied instructions and images. For an extra challenge it can be fun figuring it out without the instructions, especially with others. One thing I would recommend when looking at Lego sets is to check the dimensions and look at the images to get a sense of scale, this is a relatively big design, the scale on Lego sets can vary greatly. I love this set and the Williams car is one of my favorites in the series.

As a preface this Lego set is designed for adults, there are F1 kits available for children that would be more enjoyable and easily constructed. That is not to say a teen or a child and their parent couldn't construct it, but it would not be a good gift for a 10 year old. The price tag also likely will dissuade it as a gift for a child, as it is priced as a collectable item.This is the second F1 car in the icons line, and offers one significant improvement with the rear tires. One of the most iconic features of a Formula 1 car is the wider rear slick tire, which this model recreates. It loses the tobacco livery, but keeps the Canon logo. The colors are crisp and vivid, with exquisite detail paid to the wheels and engine block.The mini figure is highly detailed, and looks like the 1992 champion. It is a double faced figurine with two expressions. His podium includes a quote and a picture of Mansell.The attention and detail put into this kit makes me look forward to future releases, hopefully Stewart or Schumacher next.

I had a few Lego toys, although one is the best one I had so far. It is a bit more complicated to finish this project, because it has more pieces. It is a nice thing to accomplish this Lego project, and I like how challenging it is. I really enjoy the process of finishing it up, and the finished toy looks awesome.

This is an amazing Lego set and is exactly what you would expect. A must have for anyone who loves race cars and Legos. My kids were able to assembly it quickly and easily and have had a great time with it.
