Microperforated Silicone Baking Mat with Fiberglass Core – 11-7/8" x 15-3/4"

I love this air mat. I use it in two different ways. The first is for baking food items that tend to be sticky or greasy which can lead to some burning on the bottom. Sausage rolls are an example. For those I put a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet, a cooling rack on the parchment, and the air mat on top of the rack. Because the sausage rolls are up on the mat, air circulates under the rolls and the grease drips through to the sheet underneath. The bottoms bake up nice and crisp without any sogginess. For things like cookies and turnovers, I lay the mat right on a baking sheet. The mat is easy to clean - just wash in hot water with a little bit of detergent... not too much or it will pick up the soap smell. Dry and shake out off any residual water.

I used this mat to bake small tart shells using perforated rings. It was recommended to use this mat to allow air circulation to produce a crisp crust. It worked beautifully. I use a sheet pan underneath. Very easy to clean. I recommend it!

This brand is very good and won’t be surprise of the quality. I have bought one (cheap) and broke just right in the middle. Higher quality are always a great idea.

This is the greatest thing…I haven’t even made cookies yet but I’ve reheated a croissant from my bakery as well as a few other things. The croissant tasted like it was fresh baked! It was amazing. I love it. Can’t wait to bake.
