207 Retractable Gel Pens, Medium Point (0.7mm), Black, 4 Count

Ok, I usually only write reviews for products or places that I either really like, or that I really want people to be wary of. Pens usually don't qualify in either category, although, as a teacher and a full time grad student taking online courses, I do have clear preferences in pens. I am currently enrolled in a College Algebra course (part of my Secondary Math Education Masters program), and taking tons of notes because it's been 25 years since the last time I took this course! So, I need a good quality pen to take the notes. I wanted a gel pen because they typically write more smoothly, and because I wanted multiple colors to keep things more organized. I went to the office supply store, looked at a number of different pens and decided, based on its packaging claims, to give this one a try. I have used many different types of gel pens over the years, and usually have a problem smudging the ink onto the side of my pinky (I don't have perfect hand positioning when I write, which is funny when I teach cursive writing!) I have had a number of other problems with gel pens over the years. Sometimes ink is distributed unevenly. Somebody mentioned in one post about the ink not flowing evenly throughout the letters, losing ink at the top. This has happened with other pens as well. I have even been reluctant at times to let students do their final drafts of their writing in gel pen because of the mess. Not with the Uni-ball 207 pens. These pens rock! They are a joy to write with! I have some arthritis in a couple of knuckles and a little neuropathy from meds I treated with a couple of years ago. These pens are extremely comfortable to me, and I like the way the rubber grip fits well in my fingers. The ink distributes evenly. The color is bold and a strong black. And, best of all, NO SMUDGES! I ran out of ink yesterday, so I ordered these as a replacement (oh, another benefit is just how much I was able to write with one pen. I was able to fill more than 1/2 of a marble composition book with one pen). You can get the refills, but the price of these four were comparable to two refills. When I ran out, I grabbed a Pentel gel pen that was nearby. Oh NO! Smudges!! I had forgotten that that even happened because I haven't had the slightest smudge with the Uni-ball. There are a lot of valid reasons and many different uses that people have posted in these reviews. But, if you want a pen that is an outstanding value for their price and will give you satisfaction with their use, buy these!!!! You will not regret it.

This pen has the right size tip and really writes smoothly. The grip is perfect for me and it helps make writing go much better. It's my every day pen.

These are the best pens! I use them everyday. I create lists for my groceries, Make out my monthly budget, make wish lists, write out my monthly bills; practically everything. I cannot do without these pens! They are a great quality ink pen, comfortable to hold & write with. I'm so glad that Amazon has them! Walgreens runs out of stock all the time. Now I know where I can find them & at a decent price, too!

These are pretty good pens! When the ink flow is working they're quite smooth, and enjoyable to write with. They leave a nice line which dries fast and doesn't bleed. Not too much to say about them, they're good ballpoints. However with every pen of the pack I got I've had issues with the ink stuttering. If I draw a sentence sometimes entire letters will just not show up. It's very infuriating.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my pens. They worked great, and that was the opposite of what several customers had put in their reviews. There were a lot of reviews that said the pens didn't write and arrive empty, with no ink. My pens all had a piece of soft plastic on the tip, and I couldn't help but wonder if people didn't see the cover. I have experienced this with a lot of different pens. My pens have been writing great. They are smooth, function properly. and feel great in my hand.

I've been using uni-ball pens since college. Honestly I had a set of 4 ball point uni-balls that lasted me 3 years which included a lot--LOT--of writing. These fit my current needs of retractable and gel ink that dries quickly and therefore is pretty smudge-proof (I work in a wet industrial environment). I've used them for a few days now and as expected they do not disappoint.

I bought these based on the good reviews because gel ink is supposed to be safer for writing checks. But I have the one star experience trying to do just that! Blotches, skipping, just overall useless for their intended purpose. Thought it was a fluke with the first pen, but none of them work on paper checks. Lesson learned, read all the reviews!

These are the best gel pens. I use them at work (we only purchase uni ball gel pens now !!) and I just bought myself a box for home! Love to write with these !!

This may be the best pen I've ever used. I've used gel pens before but what never impressed with them like I am this pen. Other gel pens you can feel the pen ever so slightly catch on the paper as you write. Some will leak, some will dry up quickly, not the Signo 207. This is by far the smoothest pen I've ever written with, especially in this price range. It may sound ridiculous, but to put it in perspective, I brought the pen to work and used it all day. I got my coworkers to try it, and now it's the go to pen for the entire office. I was literally excited to go into work the next day just to use my new pen. TLDR: It's a very smooth pen and elite for the price.

These have always been my favourite pens. They write smooth on paper and are tamper proof when dry. You do have to wait a moment for them to dry but I don't use any others.
