outstanding book,
Only part way through so far. full of short stories that add more lore extra stories. I wish i started buying the books sooner. I know of the stories from youtube videos but reading them are still a real treat. And fan will love this book

Great expansion on the game story
Where as the first Nier LN focused on the game story this one expands it with a set of short stories. From some weird senarios of unrelated characters do filling in more backstory for our main 3 androids. It was a great read to get more of this world.

Perfect for NieR fans.
Recently hooked on NieR Automata, I was dying for more lore and information about the game. These books have short stories that are relevant and answer some of the questions left unanswered in the game. They also reveal some history of prevalent characters in the game, and it also covers perspectives from the machines which grants a deeper understanding of both sides.Although this is translated, it's still a wonderful read, there's a few errors here and there but it doesn't affect the content at all.I fully recommend this to any NieR Automata fan!

Essential Short Stories
If you loved the game nearly as much as I did then this book is almost essential. The smaller stories it consists of add lore and context to some of the characters & scenarios seen in game as well as some completely missed. For example you get A2’s story which tells how she lost her squadron and was betrayed by Yorha, as well as 2 stories of how 2B has killed 9S repeatedly before the events of the main story. Not to mention what’s happening on the Moon..Hopefully someone who’s on the fence about buying this book reads this review and decides for the £8 it’s worth it

That great Nier feeling sadly lost in translation or poor writing.
It's really hard to tell where the faults lie in this book. Was it the original author or the translator? Either way this book is very sadly an unenjoyable, convoluted read.It really comes across as if it's been put together by an eleven year old in places. It's descriptions are feeble and it constantly trips itself up. Especially when it comes to the dialogue. Very, very disappointing. Especially when stood next to the masterwork that is the game.If you're a big fan of Nier you might get something out of it. Otherwise it is, to me at least, a waste of paper. I'm not quite sure how it good such good reviews. The three stars I gave it were for the few very nice illustrations.

For Completionists, Collectors and Connoisseurs
For those who have enjoyed Square Enix's NieR: Automata game (and if not, WHY not?) this volume tells tales of android A2 and others, set against the backdrop of a seemingly endless series of wars between humanity's androids and alien machines. Read AFTER playing the game, as this book contains spoilers (unlike this short review).

Sensacional!

Great quality
I was quite skeptical to buy this book from amazon but turns out I had no problems whatsoever. The quality of this book is perfect, there don't seem to be any damages at all. Also, w game, w book.
