This serum works very well, but I'd say use with caution if you have sensitive broken/ irritated skin. The first few times I used it, it very quickly reduced the redness in my face (I often have red and irritated skin). It absorbed very well and made my skin feel soft. I used it another time when my face had been itchy and irritated and it burned quite badly where I must have had open areas in my skin. So just be careful when using and don't use when you have really irritated skin. I don't often get acne so I'm not the best judge for this aspect, but my skin does look smoother. It's a high pricepoint but does actually appear to work and have results.

I've used several Allies of Skin products over the years with mixed results--for some reason I seem to either love or despise what they offer with few products landing in-between those points. This serum, happily, falls securely on the "love" side of the ledger!I should begin by stating that neither hyperpigmentation nor acne are issues for me and I cannot speak to its efficacy for those concerns. I ordered this specifically for its brightening and smoothing effects, and it absolutely delivers on both! The 1% kojic acid is a little on the low side, but 10% azelaic seems to be the sweet spot for my skin.The serum is an opaque white with the consistency of a light lotion. Just 2-3 pumps are needed to do both face and neck, and I find that the serum sinks in almost instantly. It leaves no residue or tackiness, and I have not experienced any pilling (an issue I've had in the past with a couple AoS products); it works equally well on its own or under makeup, and I've experienced no breakouts or irritation after use. The serum is unscented. The packaging is premium across the board, which is as expected for this decidedly upscale brand.The brightening effects are visible almost instantly, and my husband commented on my "glow" after the first use! It took a bit longer to see it impact the evenness of my skin tone, but it works better for that that literally any product I've tried before.It is definitely not a budget product, but--for me, at least--the benefits more than outweigh the price. I am hugely impressed and will never willingly be without this serum. Highly recommended!

Serum come in a nice weighty pump bottle. It has a light texture and absorbed easily into my skin without any stickiness. It did seem to make my skin softer and bit smoother but I did experience some new bumps after use so there might just be some ingredient that did not agree with my skin type. It does seem to be a good quality serum albeit pricey, I am sad it did not work for me.

I've been using this every day for about 5 weeks now and have noticed a remarkable difference. My skin looks and feels smoother, and has fewer marks and spots overall. I've been using it twice a day as suggested and surprisingly still have what feels about 1/3 of a bottle left, so it's actually a generous amount even if it doesn't appear to be at first glance. The price is obviously a lot, but for the efficacy and amount of product you get, I think it's actually worth it.

Really good. My skin is pretty good considering I'm in my mid-40s, but I've always had a problem with blocked pores on my nose. Harsh treatments such as blackhead tape and charcoal masks only seem to make the problem worse, so the best I can do is use a gentle cleanser to keep it clean and attempt to avoid touching my nose, introducing bacteria and encouraging outbreaks and blocked pores.This serum from Allies of Skin is the first thing that's ever worked a damn on my nose. I'm not going to claim that it's worked miracles but there's a definite, noticeable improvement in the size of my pores, the texture of my skin and the rate at which I develop issues. In the weeks I've been using it my nose has almost completely settled down. I've only had one small pimple from a blocked pore, and it settled after a day.I'll almost certainly order more of this when it's done. I'm really impressed.

I have been using this serum for 3 weeks and have not noticed any difference in my skin besides feeling hydrated and soft.It is a very thin consistency that absorbs very quickly.Not oily or sticky. It is unscented.It is very pricey for the results I have seen but will continue to use it hoping for more.

I've been using this serum for about 3 weeks now & the biggest change I have noticed is the softness of my skin, and I have had very little pimples or blackheads randomly pop up. I don't typically get acne, but usually, 1-2 random pimples pop up every week or so. I haven't changed anything in my skincare routine except added this serum. For the last 3 weeks, I've only seen 2 random pimples pop up. I'm not sure if it's attributed to the serum, but so far, I have found the overall results to be positive. My overall skin quality seems to be better. I've only been using a small amount daily after I wash my face & apply toner. I then apply this serum, and finally topped off with my moisturizer. The serum is nice because I feel it absorb into my skin & it doesn't feel oily or have a sticky residue afterwards. The bottle is a small bottle, but a little bit goes a long way.

i'm a women over the age of 50, so my skin has not been looking quite as radiant as i like. i thought i would give this product a try. One pump from the bottle is all you need. It's a generous amount and spreads easily over the face. It goes on a little tacky, but the tackiness goes away after a few mintutes of air drying.After a couple weeks i began noticing that the skin on my face is much softer. i'm not having issues with redness or uneven tones. Pores appear smaller and i'm having less blackheads on my chin area. The changes are subtle, but noticeable. My skin is glowing and feels much more hydrated and clear.Price is pretty high for what it is, but i do feel like it's effective on evening out skin tones and softening the skin.
