Not to diss on MSG because it does accentuate & increase food flavors, but it tends to make my skin itchy. I love ramen noodles but learned I don't tolerate it in the seasoning packet enclosed, I save them and give to someone who is okay with the MSG. I now use this for a replacement ramen noodle seasoning. I use it in every recipe calling for chicken broth. It makes a good cup of hot broth to sip on. It's not overly salty. Cost is fair, healthier, nice aroma. Makes good seasoning in Chicken noodle soups, pot pies, adds depth to chicken salad for sandwiches, I add a smidge to tuna, egg, or potato salad. I love it.

I think I like this better than Better Than Bouillon. It dissolves very quickly with no clumps but especially the taste is actually better with less salt. Tastes chickeny but is vegan. BTB is slightly too sweet from the vegetables and has more salt. I’ll probably alternate both from time to time. One tiny negative is that it’s hard to get the metal lid to go back on evenly. Edited to add that I gave my partner a cup of broth today and he thought it was my own from scratch. Now that is saying something.

I bought this product as a suggestion from a vegan you tuber that I follow. I'm new to vegan so I watch videos too give me ideas. This product is wonderful and it flavors all my dishes. It's vegan friendly and contains no animal products. And to top it off, it's made in New Zealand!!!! FYI, New Zealand doesn't allow any GMOs in any of their products. It's a win win even if your not vegan. Ya gotta try this

I buy this often, it’s easy to you and to adjust taste. I love it most because it’s gluten free. I wish the delivery person would have used more care. He threw it at the house and now the can it nicely dented.

Very tasty and great low sodium alternative to bouillon. The power is much better than a cube as you can add just the right amount. About 1/4 teaspoon perked up a large pot of home made soup! I've already ordered another so I don't run out. It comes in a small can but you really don't need much do it will last awhile. Very easy. Good value. All good ingredients too.

This is a great vegan and gluten free alternative to chicken stock. The taste is delicious and it is easy and fast to prepare.

Im only giving this product a 3 because it is full of nothing but chemicals and sugary substances! Now if you're ok with that, this has a great taste.

I ordered both the beef and chicken. Really good flavor. Used some in my rice. Went from bland to great. Only use a small amt. I think it's stronger than cubes and dissolves right away

just what I was looking for with my diet.

I held back on writing a review for this for a good three months because my very initial impressions weren't great. I expected to be blown away by this stock, and initially I wasn't. It's only been since I started to incorporate it into more and more of my cooking that I've been able to appreciate the flavour when compared to the bog standard vegetable stock cubes I usually use. It really does produce a better flavour. Most vegetable stock cubes seem to be overwhelming in either their herbiness or their celery flavours. This stock is just so well balanced and it adds a great depth to dishes. I really can't tell you whether it really does taste beefy because I haven't eaten beef for nearly thirty years - and I don't think I'd be too keen on this stock if it had some kind of (to me) alien meaty flavour. But I can tell you that it does take my cooking to a higher level. Seitan tastes amazing with a spoon of this added into the recipe. It 'tasties up' stir fry amazingly well. And adds a lovely dimension to chilli and other dishes. A small tub does go a long way, so even though it seems expensive, I've used it an awful lot and I yet still have a little bit left. It's probably time to reorder now though, which means I really do like it! I'm contemplating trying the 'chicken' flavour now.

A wonderful stock powder added this to my favourite chicken and rice dish- made it really delicious and tasty. Highly recommend it. I can't eat anything thats not gluten free so this makes it extra good.
