SparkFoamSword 39" Foam Samurai Sword Black/White Handle

Bought for an 11-year old. It was his favorite present and, though it's foam, from a few feet away, it looks real. I don't know how durable it will be--it will have to take abuse--but was well worth his excitement and the first few weeks of play.

Color was a little uninspiring, but cool prop for sure.

I paid for two day shipping and the item did arrive on the proper day. Just about 90 min late (9:30 pm) instead of before 8pm. It's no big deal.The sword itself I do like. However I feel that it's a bit thin. I sought something similar to the ones in my photo. Let me know if you have any questions.All in all 8.8/10. Awesome sword!! It was the appropriate length and I was able to spray paint it the red color I wanted. It is light - weight, it feels great as a prop sword, the only criticism is that it has a notched area where the nylon rope/tie part is connected. It is smart because it keeps it from sliding out of place, and it doesn't feel uncomfortable against your body when you wear it, but it might throw you off a little when you first see it. In any case, my item arrived as-advertised, and on time. I will be purchasing another sword or two. Thanks.

Bought this and another one for my 13yr old son. The part that guards your hand (he told me what it's called I don't remember) broke off.

Great for play battle and is holding up really well

I really love this sparkfoam samurai sword. My only concern is that because it is made of such a hard and firm foam that it will be denied at cosplay conventions that have more strict restrictions on weapon props, especially as it looks very realistic.

These were really cool but the blade was a bit wobbly and the little ring from the end of the scabbard came off easy fix with glue but could be better
