SparkFoamSword 39" Foam Samurai Sword Red/Gold Handle w/wood scabbard

Honestly, bought it for my 9 year old after he saved his money to buy a different one at a store. When he finally saved up, the store didn’t have it anymore. I bought this and wasn’t expecting much, it’s actually very impressive as a cosplay sword. I wouldn’t go bashing things with it, but it REALLY looks the part and feels nice in the hand. WAY WAY better than anything I’ve seen in the costume departments

I bought two of these swords, this one and a black one. The scabbard is nice, but I had a small issue with the gold wrap in the middle of the handle unraveling almost immediately out of the box. Nothing some hot glue wouldn't fix. Seem to be pretty well made, and probably could take a decent beating. But they are foam, and are light and flexible, but nothing bad.

I’m small and was able to trim this to fit fairly easily. The blade became loose in the handle after just a few uses. I could probably just glue it, but I haven’t. For a cheap, plastic sword it looks good, but it really isn’t sturdy enough to train with. If you’re going to use it for martial arts I’d recommend putting the money towards a sword you can use for years.

Loved it, my grandson loved it too. Very children friendly.

Really strong and durable but the foam was a bit hard

I was surprised how good the quality and detail of this sword. For the price it was more than worth it, the sword and sheath are very well built. Just be cautious with the sheath because from my experience the paint and wood are slightly prone to chipping, but the foam blade is fairly durable. Overall, great value and quality for the price, great for cosplay, display, or just playing. Even bought another one when the first one came in.
