This is the First Mole/Vole/Gopher Product, of About 10, That Actually Has Worked for Me
This stuff is actually the first Mole/Vole/Gopher killer that I have tried that actually works! But BE PERSISTENT. I have a pretty large yard. We moved into our house 6 years ago and the mole tunnels have always been a problem here. I have probably tried at least two different products every year, but I could never seem to vanquish these pests. I would say I have tried probably 8 different products before this one. This year, though, the tunneling problem has been the worst - some parts of the lawn have extensive damage. I also have evidence for the first time, that I've had at least a couple pocket gophers who have caused a lot of damage! I saw some reviews on YouTube that recommended these Amdro pellets, so I ordered them. I have applied the poison fake worms four or five times in the past, but they never took care of the problem. I skipped those this year. Following label directions closely, I used a 1" diameter plastic spike (it has a point on the end of it) that is part of one of the "Solar-Powered Sonic Mole Repellant Sound Irritators" that I've used before. (I have deployed a dozen of those things that emit a low tone to irritate the underground critters - but MY moles, voles and gophers seem to use them like lighthouse navigation aids! I have put those out the last three years to no avail. HOWEVER, one of them works perfectly to puncture a hole in the mole tunnels that permeate my yard! When you place a little hand pressure on that stake, it will either not go in the ground at all (no tunnel there), or it will be easy to push in about 2" and then meet NO resistance at all as it goes through the tunnel. Punch the hole, then spill about a teaspoon of the small Amdro pellets into the hole. That's about 10 or 12 pellets, I'd say. Then carefully cover the top of the hole to keep daylight out of the tunnel, but be careful to NOT bury the pellets with dirt. You want the pellets to lay on the floor of their tunnel, not covered by dirt. (That was the most challenging part of this for me.) On Day One, I used one entire One Pound can of the product (I bought four) and I was probably able to pour about 30 teaspoons of this stuff into mole and gopher hills all over the yard. I used the whole can. I thought I had treated each run that I could see. I then went out the next day and I could see new mole hills in vaious places across the lawn. I applied a little over half a pound more of the pellets in these new runs. As the guy on the YouTube video mentioned, BE PERSISTENT. I'm glad he did. The first few days, I didn't think this stuff was working, but every day for a week, I patrolled my lawn and deployedd a half a pound each day into new locations. After the third day, I was noticing fewer new tunnels. Over the span of 10 or 11 days, I used all four pounds in the 4 cans that I bought. I am happy to report that over the last two weeks, I have not seen any evidence of any underground critter activity in my yard! I don't want to JINX it, but I think I have finally goten rid of them all! I will get back with an update if that changes, but for now, AMDRO Pellets has been the only product that has been effective for me in getting rid of my moles, voles and gophers.

Gopher bait
I keep buying this gopher bait in the belief that it kills gophers when ingested. It is very difficult to check its efficiency as compared to traps since you see the actual victim.

Good product and effective
SO FAR, SO GOOD! If you follow the instructions and suggested ways of using this product, it actually works. The trick is, YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT in the application of this product. It is NOT a "one use, problem solved" product for invasive underground pests.

Seems to be effective in getting rid of gophers.
I put 1 teaspoon in several gopher burrows. Seems to be effective in eliminating them.

Effectiveness
This product is useless. It does not kill moles. I placed the bait in multiple mole tunnels, at least 10 spots along the line, and repeated in the new area the next day. Very disappointing product.
