If you're looking for a solid field watch, this Timex is it!
It's been said numerous times in many reviews, but this is 100% the best bang for your buck when it comes to this field watch. Keeps solid time, the build quality and materials used are fantastic, if you look for a higher end watch brand for something that is equal to what this watch has, you will be spending WELL over $1K+. I own a Hamilton Khaki field watch (manual wind), which I do love, but I wanted something that was mechanical/automatic, durable, keeps decent time, and has great water resistance (versus the Hamilton's measly "50M" water resistance and doesn't even have a anti-reflective layer on the glass). This watch hits all 4 on the head. I own a great variety of watches, from Hamilton, Seiko, Citizen, to G-Shock's and a few retro mechanical watches, and now my first Timex. G-Shock has been my go to for a daily beater/work watch (currently in the military) and something I can wear in wet environments or even swim in as there was not many field watch options (minus the expensive ones) I would feel comfortable wearing in a lake, river or ocean, let alone wear in heavy rain or have on in the shower. Again, the titanium case, sapphire glass with an anti-reflective layer, movement that has hacking, lume, watch strap, all are worth every penny in this price point. I changed the strap right away as I have always been a fan of NATO straps so that is what I have on it now but the one that came with it was comfortable. I have heard and kept an eye on Timex but there really wasn't anything that stuck out to me so I never bought into the brand, but once this came out and finally got it in my hands, I am glad I kept tabs on them as this is everything I have been looking for in a field watch. Some review's I have read say the rotor is loud, which compared to higher end movements, yes it is but it doesn't bother me any. The other issues I read were about quality control and time keeping issues. I hope that those have been worked out as I have not had any of those issues and as far as time keeping goes, after 7-8 days go by I usually gain between roughly 10-20+ seconds, which, again at this price point is fine and totally manageable. I adjust my watch weekly anyway with the online atomic clock or with one of my multi band 6 G-shocks. I will drop an update 6ish months down the road or sooner if something catastrophic happens to where I would remove my recommendation for this time piece. All in all, if you're looking for a do it all solid field watch, just buy it, you are definitely getting more for what you're paying (I paid $220).

Great watch; extra great price
I read a lot of other reviews first, and this watch is nicer than I thought it would be. For 220 bucks, it's a STEAL.Some things to note: the auto-wind is no louder than my Seiko 5. I do hear it, but the strap is actually noisier - the leather creaks a bit where the strap loops are. This doesn't bother me and is no different than any other background noise. It's lightweight - a little lighter than the Seiko in the photo but not by much.Lume is good - a little better than the Seiko.BPM is a little less than the Seiko, so the sweep is not quite as smooth, but it's close enough.Aesthetically I like it a lot. The textured dial and raised hour markers look nice and are easy to read, and the grey Ti is sweet.Power reserve is meh - not great; not terrible. Seems like 36 hours or so.Lastly this watch with the stock strap will fit a huge range of wrist sizes. 6in (or maybe less) up to about 8, based on my measurement.

Unbelievable value
I've daily worn this model for about a month now. $350 retail for titanium with sapphire front and back from a reputable brand like timex is already a steal. Mine does +4.5s/day. The date fully switches within 3 minutes of midnight. The rotor is loud, which seems to be a well known characteristic of this movement. If you have healthy ears, you can easily hear it in a quiet room at arm's length. I personally do not mind the noise, it reminds me I have a machine on my wrist. The leather band is surprisingly comfortable but does look and feel cheap, in my opinion. The lume is very good and remains visible for quite some time after dark. The watch weighs a very practical 52.9 grams without the band. All in all, very satisfied with this timepiece.

Good watch- nothing special
It's a bit larger than you'd expect, but it's not heavy. The date window is really, really small.

Exactly what I wanted.
This watched lived up to its description in every way. Information shared by Amazon indicated this is a “frequently returned item “. This should not be the case if the purchaser went on the Timex website to understand its operation.

100% satisfied, even better than I expected
I bought from the cheapest vendor and I can’t imagine there are better examples of this watch from other vendors. I had even planned to replace the strap but I like it too much. I think the watch has lost maybe 10 seconds in the week I’ve been wearing it, not even enough to care about. I bought it to exercise with (no digital watches for me) I love the light weight titanium and the synthetic strap with ti buckle. My wrist is about 8” and I’m in the third hole from the end of the strap. I don’t love the face but I don’t hate it, it looks like an inexpensive watch and in the spectrum of watches it is that. I have another 38mm Timex quartz stainless chronograph from 2011 that multiple people have confused for a Rolex Daytona and I miss the indiglo only a little bit. This one is the same height as the other, which I’m relieved about as I worried it would feel chunky on my wrist - it doesn’t.

Nice watch but runs way fast.
This is an awesome watch, very stylish and solid. But mine is running a good thirty seconds fast PER DAY which means I have to keep re-setting it. I mean sure, I buy a watch to look good on me but mostly I buy it TO TELL THE TIME. This is a Timex, for God’s sake. Does anything work like it is supposed to anymore?

Buen reloj de campo
Excelente reloj en función del precio, relación precio calidad 5 estrellas. Es liviano, legible, automático, estilo reloj de campo y versatil. El único problema es la correa de mala calidad, pero si se cambia, no hay problema.
