Vanguard Alta Pro 2 263AV Aluminum Tripod with Alta PH-114V Video Head

I picked up this tripod a few months back and I have been very happy with it.. As an outdoor videographer that’s always on the go I’m not real easy on my equipment. So far, it’s held up to the challenge. It’s light, extremely portable, and it can literally be set up in seconds. Perfect for someone who often needs to set up in a hurry. Although I’m not using extremely heavy cameras on this particular tripod, stability has never been an issue, which is nice given its weight.

This is a great tripod and I recommend. I was looking for a sturdy tripod of sufficient height to house a spotting scope I looked at vortex and Manfrotto but settled with this and am very happy. My only criticism is that the initial move of the video head can be a bit stiff but its fine once the initial inertia is overcome. I would recommend.

I have previously used the Vanguard Alta Pro 2+ for photography so using this video centric setupw as pretty familiar. This tripod is easy to use, stable and perfect for light video work -- we use it for a video conference setup and it's managed to hold everything I've mounted to it without complaint. I would buy another one without reservation!
