A Must for Every Household
I've used these for years to remove any funny taste from my well water and change 'em about every six months. Well made, much cheaper than my unit's manufacturer's. An exact fit. Buying in bulk saves you money. Very satisfied.

I have used these filters for some time now. If you want better tasting water, this is the one. But it may reduces your water pressure. You should have better tasting water for it

You get what you pay for
They look superficially similar to the authentic filters they are meant to replace: the fit was perfect - and the only difference was absent holes on the bottom (on the photo, on the right is the authentic filter, on the left is this product after 3 weeks of use)However, almost immediately after installing this we noticed much lower throughput: if one faucet in the house was open, almost nothing else had normal water pressure. Kept the filter installed for 3 weeks, hoping that it would improve with time. It didn’t. I finally replaced it with an authentic filter, and everything went back to normal: I can finally wash hands while running the dishwasher.When taking this replica-filter out, I also noticed that the rubber gasket on the top got detached and was hanging loose.Now I have three useless new filters that are going straight into the landfill.

Great Way to better water!
This was a direct replacement for my WHKF-GAC filters. I simply unscrewed the filter housing, removed the old filter. Then cleaned the inside of the housing before inserting the new cartridge and reinstalled the housing. I also used a new o-ring as the old one seemed like it was starting to dry-rot a little and I purchased a 2 pk of them a while back. Hopefully the water quality is the same as before when using the original Whirlpool filters but I will never know without a water test. 4 cartridges for $36ish seems like a pretty good deal! They also come with 2 sets of “month” stickers for all 12 months x 2 to stick on the filter housing to display the month changed- convenient!
