After years of faithful use with Native deodorant, I decided it was time to try something new—and Salt & Stone's Bergamot & Hinoki deodorant exceeded my expectations. The texture is smooth with a refined, moderate dry-down that feels weightless on the skin—something I never truly experienced with previous brands.The scent itself is quietly stunning. Bergamot & Hinoki blends beautifully with my body chemistry, creating a clean, refined aroma that’s fresh, slightly woodsy, and not the least bit overpowering. It gives off that elusive “you smell amazing, but I can’t quite place it” vibe—and I love that.Packaging-wise, it's chic and modern, a little piece of luxury in my daily routine. I wouldn’t mind a refillable option in the future, just to cut down on waste, but the current design already feels elevated and intentional.I haven’t put it through the test of a hot, sweaty day yet, but so far, it's held up beautifully. I absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a more elevated, effective natural deodorant. This one’s a keeper.

I have been using Salt & Stone deodorant since 2022 and love it. I've tried 4 different scents (Eucalyptus & Cedarwood, Santal & Vetiver, Bergamot & Hinoki, and Black Rose & Oud) and have enjoyed the clean, refreshing, and unique scent of every single one. The Eucalyptus & Cedarwood was my favorite before it was discontinued :( ...BUT my new favorite is the Black Rose and Oud, which has a rich floral, warm amber, and musky earth/woody scent. It's not as light and crisp as the Bergamot & Hinoki, so it may not be for everyone, but I think it's delicious and kind of sexy. After I applied it the first time, I couldn't stop smelling my armpits, so I bought the body spray to help with that inconvenient issue, lol. Salt & Stone, if you read this, please please please do not discontinue the Black Rose & Oud! I'm making it my new signature scent and I'm not great with change. Thanks for understanding :) !Back to business... for me, Salt & Stone deodorant is easy to use, leaves no staining on clothes, and is effective for daily use. If you're planning on heavy or sweaty activity, you may need to reapply, but for your average day to day of being alive, it's a wonderful choice!

Aren't we all just trying to find a good deo without the toxins? I like this one.Does it work?I think so. It doesn't last several days., but who doesn't reapply every day? I have really only noticed a stink if I sleep in it, then sniff the next morning. The first few layers feel scratchy on your armpit, but it eventually gets softer. I tried Native, which never got softer. This one does.ScentPerfumey. I love. The saffron and cedar one smells similar to Baccarat Rouge, which is known to be "musky". So, it's great at first but at the end of the day when it's mixed with sweat, it's not the greatest. I am going to repurchase when I run out, but get a different scent.

Yummy! I bought the Santal & Vetiver scent. It’s light but noticeable. It smells a lot like the fragrance Good Chemistry Unknown Legend (available at Target) - just a few notes down from that. There was only one day I had to reapply, otherwise it seems to provide stank coverage all day and the scent lasts forever. I wish they had it in a clear glycerin type beat just because I like how those kind of deodorants feel upon application but maybe they wouldn’t be able to pack as much sweat protection and fragrance in a clear medium. You are basically paying for the scent because it’s kinda spendy for deodorant but I’ll see how long it lasts…I think I’m hooked now so I’ll probably keep buying even if it is a little pricey. I do like that they use more natural ingredients so there’s that too, and that’s always a good reason to pay more for a quality product.

I got a sample discovery set on Salt & Stone's website originally. But this was my favorite and I saw it here. Delivered so fast and the bergamot & hinoki is the one I got, all of them are great. This one is the best no contest. I was NOT prepared by how big the bottle was going to be😅😆Like for real. For $20 I thought it was pricey at first but you cant beat the quality and now that I see the full size in person, its 100% worth it. Also you smell fresh for literally 24 hours. It says 48 but I dont go that long without a shower😅 you still sweat using this product but thats the point of natural deodorant but it wont stain your clothes and you smell like fresh laundry all day

I love the scent but it's a bit creamy so it can move about and I've accidentally stained a number of shirts because of it. I have to be really careful with it when applying because if I accidentally swipe across my chest or collar, it stains my shirts in that spot so that it looks like I've spilled something on them. It's only certain materials, I've noticed.I love the smell so much and believe I've gotten the process to a point where I don't have that problem, so I'm probably going to order it again. It works really well and lasts for a long time. Plus, it DOES smell delicious. If the reviewers said the body spray smelled like if, I'd order that, too, but it would appear that the spray doesn't smell as good and needs reapplied constantly. What a shame because I love how good thie deodorant smells so much, I'd be thrilled to find a lotion or perfume that smelled exactly like it!

Love this deodorant! First it smells amazing and the fragrance lasts well. It has a very smooth application and leave the skin nice and smooth feel nourished. Unlike a lot of solid deodorant it doesn’t leave white marks or transfer to clothing. It works well as an everyday deodorant leave you smelling great. If your going to the gym or will sweat a whole lot you will need to reapply for order protection but it’s still a great natural aluminum free deodorant.
