Easy to read and very informative about the elements of the Periodic Table--I love it!

I love this book, I like the periodic table of elements and I love you author who made this book.

The preview is spot on. I bought this book because I thought I would read it and I do. It's interesting because the element's description is 1-2 pages. It's short enough where you don't feel like you're reading a dull textbook. It's more similar to snippets from from a magazine summary. The colors pop on the pictures and cover. It's a likable and pretty book in person. I bought the hard copy because I saw this book at a store and I knew that I would love having this to flip through the pretty pictures or re-read a page here and there.

HEY! You have got to get your family this book. The Periodic Table book is interesting, small enough to fit comfortably in your hand, and will entertain you and yours for many hours. Elements are thoroughly explained, then your told how they relate. Wow, I wish this type of information, this format had existed when I was in school.

Terrific graphics and writing put the awesomeness of periodic elements in everyone's hands. A great resource and read for all ages grown-up and youngsters alike. Purchased as a gift for a 10year old, who was utterly thrilled to receive it.

What an excellent and fun way to review and learn the elements! I will treasure this book for always :) I have been showing all my friends and family what a great resource this is. I just really wish I had had this in undergrad!

My 7 yo son is obsessed with the periodic table. He's memorized it in large part because of this book. While this is clearly meant for an adult audience, I am able to translate the text easily for my son. The pictures are wonderful. It is a great gift for any science lover or enthusiast hoping to learn more about the periodic table.

It serves as a brilliant introduction to the table of chemical elements. Occasionally errata creep in, as in the description of half-life. And in the transfermium list there is no definition for TBC as a place of discovery, unless it stands for “to be continued.”
