dissapointed
I honestly got these pens because of the brand, i gave 5 stars but after having them for like 2 weeks, they arent good. I havent been using them constantly. Im a bit dissapointed on how they color. Sometimes i have to draw spirals to get the ink running very annoying^

Gel pens
Tried one of the white pens to write on some black stickers. It was difficult to get the ink flowing, even when trying it out on regular paper. It would start and stop a lot. When I was able to write on the sticker, I left it alone for 30 minutes, and then it still smeared. Though that could be just as much the fault of the sticker, I guess.

The Gold Ink is so Pretty
Full disclosure, I meant to order the Ohuhu colorful gel pens. However, I wasn’t paying attention and accidently ordered the set of white, silver and gold gel pens. Regardless, I’m not unhappy with them, who doesn’t love a gel pen? I’m a total journal and stationary girlie and gel pens are a supply I simply cannot go without. This set comes with 12 extra fine point gel pens. It comes with 6 white pens, 3 gold pens and 3 silver pens. Ohuhu is a great brand when it comes to art supplies, and these gel pens are an amazing value. You are getting 12 of them for under ten dollars which is a steal in my opinion. They write decently. I always have an issue with gel pens skipping if I’m not being careful, but these flowed quite nicely. The gold and silver really had a beautiful sparkle to them, and the white was highly opaque. The ink dried fast so I had no issues with smudging. Although I still want to try the colorful Ohuhu gel pens, I don’t regret getting these, especially because I always need extra white ones. They are a welcome addition to my stationary supplies.

Inexpensive-looking pens that work well
These pens might not wow you from a presentation standpoint—the packaging is pretty basic, and the pens themselves look and feel like the kind of disposable stick pens you’d grab from a supply drawer. So if you’re thinking about gifting them, especially as a standalone item, they may not make a huge first impression. That said, the actual writing performance is solid. The ink flows smoothly once it gets going and feels a lot like writing with a decent gel pen you’d pick up at an office supply store. I personally prefer a slightly thicker line, but the tip is great for more precise applications—things like adding detail to drawings, labeling small items, or writing cleanly in limited space without bleeding over.I had a little difficulty getting the ink flowing initially with a couple of the pens, but then I read this on the back of the package: “The nib is protected by an exterior coating. If there is disconnected ink flow for the first time use, draw circles with the pen for a few times and the ink flow will be even and smooth.” I suppose that’s actually kind of intuitive for most people who’ve ever used a pen—the impulse to make random marks to get the ink going—but there you go. Once that’s done, they write cleanly and don’t smudge much at all.The white and metallic inks really pop on dark paper—especially the silver, which has a nice reflective shine. The gold leans more yellow and isn’t quite as bold, but it’s fine as long as you’re not expecting something ultra-glittery. They also dry relatively quickly, which is always a plus for most applications.Overall, it seems like a pretty good value. Like I said, I wouldn’t call the packaging or presentation especially impressive, but the pens themselves are what you’re here for—and in that respect, they deliver. Especially if you’re an artist, student, or hobbyist looking for something reliable to make clean marks, artistic or otherwise, on darker materials.Bottom line: they’re unassuming in presentation but surprisingly capable once they’re in use. A good pickup for your own stash, even if they’re not quite gift-worthy right out of the box.

Received used and dirty pens
Unfortunately, giving this product a fair review is difficult because I received an open, dirty package. I tested each pen inside. All were accounted for, some wrote, and some barely wrote. I don’t know if this is typically the case with these pens or simply the package I received. To write with these pens, you must write slowly, deliberately, and with quite a bit of force. This is frustrating because the pen tip leaves an indent in your paper. The white stands out on dark paper, as does the silver and gold. However, the gold is more yellow than genuine gold. I have no idea how soon these gel pens will dry out since the package appeared to have been used previously. I cannot give this product anything but one star in good faith.
