"This front-zip shorty slides on with ease and provides core warmth and maximum mobility for all water sports. Divers will appreciate the high-quality double lined neoprene, which retains its shape and insulating ability at depth. Playa is perfect for snorkeling, for diving in tropical water, for swimming, sailing and all water sports in general. It zips up at the front to make it easier to put on and take off. Arms and legs have a very elastic Ultraspan Neoprene braided seal to minimize water infiltration. It is light and easy to put on and take off, leaving the wearer free to move. Separate anatomical cuts for both men and women. The Playa is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in Cambodia. Cressi is an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming equipment. The product is covered by a 2-year limited warranty."

For the price, this shorty wet suit is the best. I went scuba diving twice (March 2014 and October 2014) in Cozumel and was extremely comfortable in this wetsuit. Its very easy to slip into and out. It kept me comfortable, warm and I was particularly impressed by the quality of the material and the zipper seems to be very durable. I would purchase another one. Be careful with sizing as I ordered one larger size than my actual size and that was a great decision. Overall, this is a great shorty wetsuit and I will order a long identical wetsuit for colder waters. Buy one folks!

Warning. These run very, very small. They are of good quality but you need to order at least 2 sizes larger than you think you need.

Good option if you need a front-zip
Claustrophobia prevents me from wearing the standard back-zip wetsuit, so this was a good option. Fits and looks good. The Cressi sizing is a bit strange; I have this shorty in a medium, but I had to get the full-length in a small. So you may have to try a couple of sizes to get it right. But it's a good product and you have few option if you want front zip.

Get It Off Quickly
Read all the reviews about sizing and difficulty getting it off and decided to give it a try anyway for swimming laps in a cool pool. Got a size bigger than the chart indicated for my weight and it arrived within 36 hours. Got it on easily and it fit snugly, the way a wetsuit's supposed to. When I got in the pool and started swimming, at first I was floating on top of the water but as the suit let in some water I swam (all four strokes + sidestroke) and turned just as normal. No constriction or rubbing, and while it regularly let in a little water (again, as it's supposed to) I was perfectly warm at the end of my 45 minute swim.Trying to get it off, though, was almost as hard as the workout. While I'm in my 70s, I do yoga and swim daily so I'm pretty limber, but getting both shoulders off was a bear. Once I finally got that accomplished, there was a little hold up at the elbows, but it was OK. Reached out to other buyers and got suggestions like getting a bigger size (since it fit perfectly I really didn't want to do that) pulling it off with a back scratcher (was afraid that could rip it) and using baby oil on the shoulders (wasn't sure what that would do over time to the wetsuit material). Then someone suggested putting on an Under Armour type shirt underneath. I had a short sleeve sun shirt lying around and tried it this morning. Worked like a charm! Slid much more easily over the shoulders and I was out of the suit in less than a minute rather than the 4-5 minutes previously.I had watched a lot of videos and talked to my surfing sun-in-law who recently got a front zip (zips across the chest) wetsuit, and realized that front zip suits in general are notoriously difficult to get out of, so there's nothing uniquely wrong with this suit, it's just the nature of the beast. So when you order the suit just plan to plunk down $15 or so for a sun shirt and you'll be fine. And since the company doesn't seem eager to change its size chart, order a size larger (or two?) than your indicated weight and enjoy! (I'm 5'10" and 155 lb, and got a Large)

Excellent product but runs small.
I originally purchased the 5/XL (for my husband) based on the size chart but he could not get it on. He is 5'10" and 180 lbs with 34-inch waist. The 6/XXL is a perfect snug fit. We used to snorkel in Catalina Island in 69 deg. F water. Kept him warm.

GREAT SHORTY WETSUIT
This is a great-looking shorty! The quality of the suit is excellent with full finishing all around seams. Recommend this seller - fast delivery and great price.1/19/14: Update - wanted to add that the size runs a bit smaller than actual. My suggestion is order 1 to 2 sizes larger, mainly for the sleeves and hip area. This could be due to the difference in size charts from the two countries as these suits are made in Italy. However, this wetsuit is beautiful and very well made.

Sizing is way off
The sizing on this wet-suit is way off.I'm 6'2" and 250lb so hardly a small guy, but have been diving for years and usually have no problems with a 2XL or even and XL in some brands. Not only was this way too small across the body, but also in length and I would have said (even in the 2XL I ordered) would be a struggle for anyone over 5'9" to even get on.Opinion is divided on front zip versus back zip, (it's a personal choice thing) but after struggling to get this on the zip promptly sprang open at the front.Cressi usually make great products, and I think the quality of this suit reflected that, just be aware that the sizing is not correct.

Don’t assumed that clothing designed in China is the same size as a Canadian size.
Fast delivery, and reasonable design , quality, but I ordered a extra large and it shows x large but was too small to fit me.Ended up giving it to a neighbour. As I waited to long to return it.

Can't fault it.
I have worn it twice now in the sea (Wales) and find it excellent. Can't fault it. Easy to put on, it is comfortable, unrestrictive and performs really well, allowing me to stay in the water far longer than I would without it. I had misgivings about a front zip, in case it let in water around the throat area, but went for it specifically for that lower neck, thinking it would be more comfortable than a back zip, which tend to make me feel choked. And so it is, and it doesn't leak at all. Brilliant! And superbly constructed. Worth every penny. Now as to sizing, I agree with those reviewers who advise ordering a size larger, although I would also advise to carefully study the sizing chart. After doing so, I ordered a large, despite the fact that for everything else I've ever worn for the past forty years medium has always been a perfect fit. With this wetsuit though, large is a perfect fit.As for the other reported problem, taking the thing off after swimming, I have to concur. The first time, it took me so long I was on the verge of walking across the beach to ask a complete stranger to help--I thought I was going to have to go home in it and cut myself out of it! The second time was a bit easier. As with most things, there's a certain knack to it (I hope!). But I do think you need to be pretty flexible around the shoulders. If you're not, make sure not to go alone to try it out! Anyway, for me, the choice between this and an easy-to-get-off-but-choking back zip is a no brainer. All in all, a great product and great value for money. Oh yes--and for you beach posers out there, it also looks pretty cool.
