Not so good, poor sensors, even at close distance cannot detect motion

Bright led light
Nice bright led but the magnet is not strong enuf to hold. The motion sensor is also weak and weird.

Put one in hall closet and under kitchen sink. I smile every time I open the doors. I don't have to get my flashlight out

PROS: - Good detection range for automatic mode - Selectable color temperature - Magnetic mounting (with adhesive steel pads included for non-ferrous surfaces) CONS: - Automatic mode requires rather dim lighting to activate - On/off switch is small slide switch rather than tap/touch switch - Magnetic grip may be too weak for some vertical surfaces. I have an ice maker that sits between my refrigerator and freezer, which puts it in a area shaded from the normal kitchen lighting or light from the windows. As such, I was hoping this light in automatic mode would provide the supplement lighting desired when I was in the vicinity. Sadly, the threshold for automatic mode to activate the light is for the lighting to be rather dim. Switching the light manually is also problematic, as on/off is part of the same small slide switch as automatic mode, while color temperature selection is controlled by a tap switch on the end. It is regrettable that on/off is not controlled by a short press of this button and automatic mode by a long press, with the less often changed color temperature controlled by the slide switch. Another issue is that for this installation, under cabinet mounting was not a viable option, as the overhead cabinets in the area do not provide a 8" wide surface, but instead step up to provide more clearance. I did not expected that to be an issue, as the fridge and freezer provided a steel surface on either side. Unfortunately, the light would slide down on the side of my refrigerator, despite another magnetic mount device (a temperature display for a fridge/freezer thermometer) being mounted in the same area. The side of the upright freezer provided adequate attraction for the light to stay in place if not touched, but attempting to use the slide switch resulted in the light skewing off level, even if one attempted to hold it while moving the slide switch. I expect these would work well when mounted horizontally, provided one doesn't need to use the switch. As mentioned, however, don't expect these to work except in dim lighting. Do not expect them to light up a shaded under cabinet area in an otherwise adequately lit kitchen. A feature to either adjust the trigger threshold or simply disable it (causing the light to activate with any motion, regardless of lighting) would have been desirable.

I've tested a lot of motion sensor lights and this is pretty standard as far as they come. The three color temps are easy to alter, the buttons are easy to understand. Everything works fine. I just find the motion sensor a little clunky to look at, and $16 for a single one of these strikes me as a bit expensive. Overall this is a solid motion sensor light.

I have a coat closet which is always in shadow due to how the lighting in the room is situated. This small but bright light solves my problem perfectly. Using the magnetic holder, I am able to have this light situated on the side wall of the closet, so it sees movement as we open the door and provides light just where we need it. Because the holder is magnetic, the light is easy to remove and recharge using a USB-C charger. Its motion sensor works great to trigger as we open the door. The light can be one of 3 different styles: Bright, Outdoor, Warm. (I think if it as going from White toward Yellow. It can also be dimmed and brightened to suit your need. The light has a switch to put it into 3 modes: - Off - Always on - Motion sensitive when dark If you need light where you don't have power, I recommend this for you.
