I bought these to help me start fires for camping. And man these are GREAT! I used to use newspaper, then put the kindling on top of that. The newspaper burns pretty fast, so it was sometimes hard to get the fire going. But these fire starting things? They burn forever! On my first night camping last week it had just rained. Everything was wet, I knew starting a fire would be tough. I bought large logs of fire wood that were dry, but the kindling I gathered was pretty wet. No problem! I sat the fire starter bundle in the middle and lit it, and it kept burning for several minutes as I fussed with the soggy kindling. I never had to burn more than one of these to start up a good fire.

These firestarters don’t look like much but boy did they work. We are lighting a pellet stove with them and since I’ve got these fire starters I haven’t had any problems lighting the pellet stove. They light right away, last a bit, and do the job easily. I will be buying these again, and again, and again.

Love this product. It makes lighting a fire so much easier. However, the size has shrunk-they're almost half the size as a year ago...May have to use more than before to get things going.

These work extremely well! I camp a lot and have a hard time getting enough kindling to start a fire. Once I got these, I have not had any problems starting a campfire. These worked amazingly well and don’t have an unusual odor or excessive smokiness. They are now part of my essential camping supplies.

As an avid camper I always look for a quick and most efficient way to start a camp fire. While I Weber Lighter cubes, I found that Veksun Tinders burn longer and easier to carry. It only takes a small bun to start a fire. Highly recommend

These things work better than I ever imagined. Even with damp wood they last so long and burn so hot they got my fire cranking every time. Use outdoors for sure but other than that awesome.
