I was excited to get this mat since I’m just starting out with golf, but it didn’t work out like I hoped. The ball doesn’t roll as smooth as I expected and sometimes goes off to the side even when I feel like I hit it straight. The little gates are fun to aim at, but they’re kind of flimsy and fall over easily. Save your money and just practice with a cup on the floor.

This was purchased for my grandchildren to use at my house. One week ago, our granddaughters had a friend over for dinner at our house. The friend and our granddaughters enjoyed putting. It was fun hearing them laugh about their bad shots.

I have had 2 putting mats in the past and never satisfied. Came across this one and loved the price and features. First of all, any putting mat in this price range is going to be faster than a normal green. But the elevated holes help with distance and feel. I had one that was not elevated and if just tapped a putt like a 3 footer it would go all the way off the end of the mat. Terrible for distance control. This mat like all is about as fast as a fast green on a high dollar course. It is as good as you are going to get unless you are willing to spend 4 times what this costs. Second of all, any mat you get will have ridges from being rolled up. They will go down in about 3 days or less. I can’t believe negative reviews about this. What do people expect? Give it a little time is all. The ball return is very handy and works like a charm. The look is very appealing. And the different size holes are awesome. Love the different lines on the mat. Really helps with alignment. All in all I am very pleased and impressed with this putting mat. I have mine on laminate flooring and sliding is not an issue. The included gates are nice but I don’t use that often. I did purchase one of the alignment mirrors for $10 on here. I only use it occasionally like the gates. For the price you are not going to get any better. I definitely recommend and would buy again with no hesitation.
