This is a good product for its intended use. Read other reviews, but what you first need to understand is that this is a balm. Balms are always thick, i.e. lip balm. If you use the accompanied liquid moisturizer the best way to apply this is to place a small amount of the balm in your hand and add 2-3 drops of the liquid moisturizer on it, rub together and apply to your facial hair. Then style accordingly. The scent is minimal and clean with nothing lingering or over powering. I have found that it does soften my facial hair and eliminates the itching of new growth or razor stubble when styling. Over all I am please and will continue to use this product especially for the price point at which I was able to purchase it at. There are many products to choose from, that will probably do the job, but this one is right for me. I would recommend it.

Excellent products. Have been using both for several years. Also use the wash. Keeps my long thick beard well hydrated and the balm holds well. Minimal scent which i prefer. Not overpowering at all.

Do not buy if it’s a gift! The pictures clearly show a beautiful gift box with a red ribbon. What arrived, however, was 2 small products wrapped in clear plastic. This was to be a gift for my son-in-law! How can I give him this? Looks like I bought it from the pound shop. And it wasn’t cheap. No directions for how to use, because these would normally be printed on the box or on a printed enclosure.
