I Cant see this being for 10k pool, the Copper needs to be clear about twice a week. IT does hold a charge well but im thinking of going back to liquid copper*UPDATE* i contacted the seller and they help me using it properly to make it a lot easier. And now works perfect, I i use the floater, and I use one cup of granulated chlorine every week.My pool is crystal clear

This ionizer is easy to assemble, and disassemble for cleaning. It needs to be cleaned regularly and seems to work as expected. The pool has remained clear of algae.

I bought this item out of curiosity and am still skeptical about its efficiency. But for the last few weeks, I have used half of the normal 3" chlorine tablet dosage. Still, I see no algae, murkiness, or excessive foam bubbles. Those are the first signs that your pool needs immediate shock treatment. The weather is colder already, but the direct sun time is shorter, too, and I don't think that the device works at its utmost efficiency,Anyway, this float is larger than an average chlorine dispenser, about twice as big as any I have. Assembly was easy, and it gave no trouble to anyone. I see that the cooper rod has changed and needs a cleanup to maintain the device's original efficiency.It's my understanding that the cooper rod is expendable and should be replaced after a while. It's a massive block of metal and should last at least two seasons, but when the time comes, there are no issues with finding a new set of rods and plastic nuts.So far, I like the outcome, and I'm going to use it to decrease chlorine usage for two reasons:- Economical - tables are not cheap.- I have friends who have chlorine allergies and cannot enjoy the pool as much as they could.Good investment so far, and I'll keep you posted after a while.

Bought this to replace my old No More Green Ionizer that quit working after two years because the shipping date was sooner. A week after putting it in the water, my pool is turning green, a clear indication that it is not working. Also seeing none of the greenish blue corrosion on the copper anode like I did with my old one, another indication of it not working. So I’m returning it for a refund and going back to the more reliable “No More Green” Ionizer.

This ionizer seems to be working. I have a higher copper content in my pool after I started using it which kind of let me know this is doing something. My pool never really had any problems but I got this to help. I have had it in the pool for over a month and no problems. I wish it had a light or something so I would know if it is on. That would have been a nice touch. I would have to have it in the pool if it quite working as I would just throw it out. So a light would be nice.It is solar so I just leave it in the pool every day. Our pool get 100% sun light all day long.

I got this at the end of pool season so I only was able to use it for a short time but I’m so impressed by how well it works. My water was sparkling clean and it has great algae control. Fits in my pool great and is a good value product that will save you so much money on chemicals.

Crystal clear water and a noticeable drop in chlorine consumption is a win-win. Water chemistry has been spot-on, I’ve used zero shock, clarifier or PH adjuster since this sucker has been floating around our pool for the past 3 weeks. This product should pay for itself in a matter of months, I’d have a hard time providing a reason why I would not recommend this product. Using one of these on our 9x18 above ground pool, tons of rain and 90 degree hot temps over the past three weeks to give some additional perspective on the effectiveness of this product.
