Gets a nod from this (ex) watch snob
I am an avid watch fan and love all things horology. In the past 5 years I have owned in excess of 40 watches ranging from £50-£1500, Swiss, Japanese, German Russian and Chinese. This Casio is in my opinion the perfect watch. Lets get the bad stuff out of the way: 1. the bracelet has folded links and hollow end links. However, it totally suits the watch as it makes it so lightweight and comfortable and absolutely does not detract from the look (you can't tell). 2. The crystal is mineral, it will scratch if you bash it about. 3. The lume is average, but I can read the time all night. But what really makes this watch is the fact its £60, look utterly amazing and is all the watch I ever need. Keep that £8,000 you were going to drop on a Rolex Sub and invest it, your kids will thank you. Its the perfect balance between sporty and dressy that means it will go with any outfit except a very smart suit (although many would wear this with a suit also, I think a white dial dress watch with black leather strap is the only watch you should ever wear with a suit). So enamored with this watch am I that it now is the only watch I wear and there exists only 1 other in my collection, my dress watch, that I wear maybe 2 or 3 times per year. I know this is a very subjective review but seriously, after years of agonising over the best Swiss movements, complications, sapphire crystals, solid bracelets, end links and milled clasps, COSC certifications, in house calibres, this has made me realise what is important in a wrist watch, its pulled me out of the rabbit hole of watch obsession: Legibility - the dial is so so legible without being a sterile flieger Comfort - some of the Swiss automatic divers I owned were positively uncomfortably heavy, I mistook weight for quality and pretended I liked the heft. Uncomplicated - I have owned chronographs and tachometers, but I dont race, I owned ISO certified diving watches, I don't SCUBA dive, I have had watches rated to 1000m, wtf, I swim in my local baths, I have had GMT complications, I fly once or twice a year, usually in Europe. I've contemplated a Rolex Milgauss, but this quartz movement can be kept next to a powerful magnet and still work fine (I actually own a de-mangetiser which I've had to use on more than one occasion on my automatics) Accuracy - this watch is more accurate than any COSC certified watch I've owned, it keeps -2 seconds every couple of weeks. There's no solar, no kinetic, no automatic movement, no handwinding, but the battery lasts 3 years and can be replaced, watch seal replaced and re pressure tested all for about £5 DIY or £25-30 in a shop. Failing that you could buy a new one! As for the good specs, well... Case 40mm, with crown 42mm, lug to lug 48mm, thickness 11mm, lug width 20mm, clasp 18mm, weight 125g Screw in (signed) crown, screw in case back, 100m Water resistance (enough to swim and snorkel with) This watch is designed for telling the time an date for people who work in an office, shop, factory, warehouse, play sports, go swimming, go out to dinner, to be pub and generally live a normal life! This watch is everything you need, and nothing you don't. Its not luxury jewelry, its not a professional instrument, its not a status symbol, its not a conversation starter at a dinner party, its a watch!!

Superb quality at a modest price
This is the easiest watch to read that I have owned. A modest price combined with superb quality puts in the amazing value for money league. Looks great, accurate, nice strap. Only possible improvement would be a bigger date window but apart from that of my collection of 5 watches this is my daily driver.

Fantastic value......
Read some reviews on this timepiece before purchasing the blue dial variant. Not disappointed a well finished watch with a clear good looking handset against a fantastic dial. Looks great in sunlight. I would imagine the quartz unit is pretty robust and accurate and a screwdown case back is simple for future battery changes. I prefer a better quality bracelet but for around £60 not many better analogue examples from leading watchmakers. Looks like these watches being phased out of Edifice line up so if you want one act fast.

It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the f.... century!
A very subtle smart looking Edifice watch that's plenty of bang for your buck. Screw down crown, screw down case back, 100m water resistance and the lume is good for a Casio. I had to remove 4 links to fit my 7 1/4 inch wrist, 3 from the 12 o'clock side and 1 from the 6 o'clock side for the clasp to sit centered. The links are held together with split pins that were easy to knock out with my spring bar tool. In the direction of the marked arrows on the bracelet links it was fool proof. The clasp has 2 micro adjustments which I have on the tighter one and it fits my wrist a treat. I guess come summer I will adjust it to the looser adjustment. All in all it's a smart looking Casio Edifice that's worth the buy.

Excellent watch, really very good, is 40mm
Not a dress watch but can be worn in any other situation. Looks amazing. Working without issue. Shame no sapphire but then the price would go up (I'd pay it!). Large dial to bezel ratio and very legible. Strap monster

Beautiful watch. Great Price!
This has been on my wrist since I've bought it. Beautiful watch. Easy to read. Can dress up or down with a simple strap change. Can't ask for more for £50.

Superb value.. a complete watch!
Ignore all the petty complaints about the bracelet. I think its fine, fits the watch perfectly and for a hollow link rattler its pretty decent. Not everyone wants a 150g solid link anchor weight on their wrist, this a dressy sports watch so needs to be light. Love it for what it is, no need whatsoever to change the band. Its so easy to size the bracelet with a £2 tool, the pins come out and tap in with ease, so no need to take to a jeweller either. The watch itself is superb.
