Casio Men's GWX8900B-7 G-Shock Tough Solar Multi-Band Atomic Watch

This watch is a fantastic watch. I work in the Garden Department of a home improvement store and decided to try out this watch. There was more than enough packaging to make sure this watch arrived unscathed. It is a beautiful watch and looks exactly like the picture. I would definitely recommend reading the instruction manual for the watch. It may look a little overwhelming but only about 1/3 of the manual is in English. The watch can be a little difficult to read in dim lights but it has on auto-illumination feature that lights up the watch when you tilt it to look at the time. When I received the watch, the battery was half charged and the time was a couple hours off. After I set my city code and performed a manual receive the time was perfect (Again, definitely read the manual). Also after an 8 hour shift in the garden department (both inside and out of the store) the watch was fully charged. I have yet to bang into anything or slam the watch into something so I can not attest to it's strength but it feels very sturdy. You will also get a fair amount of compliments on how good the watch looks because it's an eye catcher. This is a great watch and if you read the manual and follow the guidelines it should last for a long time. I will update this if something worth mentioning happens with the watch.

I'm a fan of G-Shocks and this one really grabbed my attention with it's contrasting black and white color scheme. It has a huge face and really pops on my wrist. I like the reverse display, though it is a bit harder to read in low light. The super illuminator works great and lights up a nice dark blue. I don't really use the tide/moon functions, so I can't comment on how they work. The watch looks very sharp and is built like a tank, just like all G-Shocks.

It is a nice looking watch when new. The white finish comes off at the edges and reveals a slightly different pinkish color underneath. Since the look of the G-shock watches is a big selling feature, then this could be an issue for you. I still wore the watch for three years and like it, but the finish issue is a bit annoying. See attached photo for watch after almost 3 years of daily wear. Finish issues started sometime in the first year.The function of the watch is as expected.

What I like:-The looks of this watch are very nice!-Feature set is wonderful (particularly the atomic clock feature)-Feels durableWhat I dislike-The price seems high (know what your getting)Overall, I am very satisfied with the watch. I've had it for 3 days now and am still very happy with this purchase. This watch is more of an investment rather than buying features; your getting a quality product that will last a long time. I feel confident that this watch will withstand just about anything I throw at it.

This watch is a great looking, solid watch. HOWEVER...it would be nice if one could actually read the time display! I feel like being able to tell what time it is is a pretty important part of a watch! It is soooooo dim that I can't read the watch unless the lighting is perfect, i.e. out in the sun or a brightly lit room...even then it has to be at the perfect angle. Outside at dusk...watch face looks black. I needed to use the illuminator button to see the watch and the sun had not even set yet; this is is ridiculous. Despite all of the great features of this watch it will be returned immediately. SOOOOO disappointed...I was pretty excited about getting this watch...my first G-Shock.I have also been unable to manually receive the atomic signal for time calibration. I have tried MANY times and each time ends in an error and the signal strength is good.Looks like I will be going back to my old standby...The Timex Ironman Shock...best watches I have owned...and 1/3 of the cost.Because it is a WATCH first, I only gave it 1 star...if it doesn't function well as a watch because of the horribly designed display it can't get more than one star.

Finally got a watch that works, this is a good watch, the quality on some are better than others just depends on where you get it from. The watch itself is great, once you get used to the features it is a great watch and comes in handy daily for various functions. the nightly sync is great and works well and the solar charging is top notch, works well and the size is just right.

First of all Shipping was fast and got it just on time for Christmas day. No other seller would deliver before Christmas day except this one. The item was jaw dropping. My son got a lot of compliments and i like the watch myself. The way the watch has the black and white colors makes the watch stand out a lot. It looks fantastic. If the watch gets dirty like previous reviews there's an easy way to clean look up how to vids. Watch is everything I expected and then some.

I cant say enough good things about this watch, the screen is easy to read, it is solar powers, and has accurate moon and tide! the list goes on it is amazing and a must have for G-shock fans

Bought this watch and I am not disappointed. With a G Shock watch you know you are getting a top quality watch.
