I was skeptical when I was looking at purchasing this laptop. However, I thought I would try it out, if I don't like it, I would just return it. I have been a die hard loyal HP user for 25 years. I am very impressed with the laptop. I only wished it had a Ethernet port. It actually has an American Megatrends bios and motherboard. Windows 11 Pro. Fast responsive. If you need a quality laptop on a budget. Great for students. Definitely worth the purchase. This is a non touch screen model.

The computer is a good value for the money and it works well. I like the backlit keyboard and the larger screen size. The picture looks great as well. I have had no trouble getting it to connect with my Wifi.

Had to get this since our very old laptop won't accept Win 11. Battery seems decent and comes with Win 11 but doesn't have a lot of "junk" pre-loaded, so appreciated that. Did remove Office 365 preview to avoid having to pay the ridiculous prescription service in the future. (Just download the free Libre Office and you can, still, use all of your old Office Files.) Biggest annoyance is the huge touchpad that I could not turn off because I prefer using a mouse. Googled and you push the function (Fn) key + F8 to turn it off. (Book says Fn+F1 but that turns the whole thing off.) Overall good quality, using the $50 coupon got the thing less than $300,

Well I never really used it so I don't know how good the operating system is but the cord the power cord is super short so you would have to sit it on your lap right next to an outlet I do a tremendous amount of computer work each week and there's no way the battery would last that long so I have to have it plugged in when I'm working and there's no way that would work for me other than that it seem nice and it seemed like it was operating fine when I first started it but I had to return it because of the power cord

I'm quite surprised with this laptop so far. Especially when you consider the price. Pros: 16 gig of RAM and a 1TB drive with back-lit keyboard. It's fast, the display is a perfect size, and I've been putting this laptop through its paces as a music computer. So far, so good! Cons: not sure what the deal is with the speakers but they are pretty bad. They claim stereo, but the speakers are so close together, there is just about no stereo spread and they aren't that loud. Not that we need laptop speakers to be great as just about all of them are weak, but these are by far the worst I've experienced. I had to buy a clip on stereo speaker which sounds fantastic. Wifi: it's one of the slowest wifi laptops I own. I have a lightning fast connection here and right at my router, I can't get this to download faster than 250mb per sec. But it still does the job. Lastly, the worst part of this laptop is the battery. It drains so fast, it's actually sad. They really had something here but failed on one of the most important things on a laptop. You can literally watch the battery go down. I've had to use power saver just so I'm not constantly charging this battery to the point of it no longer having charge capabilities. Thankfully I don't need the laptop like others do. You would think with the cons I've supplied here that my review would warrant less stars. The truth is, for what this is, it's great. I wanted a back-lit keyboard, a 1TB drive and at least 16 gig of ram running windows 11. I got just that. I just really wish the battery was better and that's my biggest issue with this. Other than that, I've pushed this thing hard as a music computer and it's been great. I'd buy it again, however, I'd look and see if I could find something like it with longer battery life.

Everything seems to be working great on the laptop. It has a nice wide big screen to be able to see things clearly, plenty of typing space and a big mouse scrolling pad. It even comes with the fingerprint option. The laptop is very easy to navigate your way around and the sound is really well while listening to music. A great laptop for a good price. Battery will last for several hours. The design is smooth.

I originally bought this as a budget laptop after my previous, more expensive laptop's keyboard broke. It works well as a budget laptop: it allows me to do everything well except gaming: runs Linux Mint (no issues with proprietary drivers in the hardware). I was scared at first that there was thermal issues, but it's just that the laptop is low-power and doesn't need much cooling. The left side of the keyboard gets a little hot, but I did a diagnostic on the temps and nothing is wrong because the N100 processor just doesn't need a lot of cooling. The storage capacity is really good for the price. The SSD has 1 GB of storage, while my old $500 refurbished laptop had 128 GB (though the processor was an I7). I wish I had dedicated graphics so I could play modern games, but it fits what I need right now while I'm unemployed.

GOT THE LAPTOP FAST AND WORKED LIKE A CHARM. THIS LAPTOP WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. MAINLY BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS SO AFFORDABLE THAT I WASN'T EXPECTING IT TO WROK AS GREAT AS IT DOES. STARTS UP FAST CAN SAIL THROUGH WEBSITE TO WEBSITE VERY FAST. IT FAR EXCEEDS WHAT I NEED IT FOR AND WOULD RECEMEND IT TO ANYONE. GREAT VALUE GREAT LAPTOP AND VERY SLIM AND LIGHT WEIGHT.
