The Dolly Parton baking mixes are a step above the usual. Part of their flavor boost is due to using a stick of butter instead of oil etc. The basic method folks use to improve boxed mixes are actually called for on the box. The coconut makes the BEST cake mix cookies I've ever had. I've also done coconut cake with chocolate frosting and coconut decoration which was delicious.

OMG this product is made by Duncan Hines but Dilly will back you up if you scan the code on the box. A few extra eggs. Milk instead of water and melted butter instead of oil. So moist and rich and your friends will be so jealous of your baking skills. I use all her products now.Try it! The price is right.

Dolly's cake mixes are heavier than most boxes cake mixes. Rich and thick and moist. Every flavor is good but this is the best!

Cake mix, works for my needs, added some Banana extract to up the taste a little.

Omg this cake is amazing. Tastes like banana pudding, just in cake form. Not too dense, fluffy and well flavored. Did not have a fake banana taste to me.

I never expected to ever review a box cake, but here I am. I love banana and I love cake, but the problem with most pre-packaged "banana" flavor is they always end up smelling and tasting like fake banana. Not this one! This tastes exactly like I smashed real bananas into it. It's perfect; just like Miss Dolly! BLESS YOU, Dolly Parton ♥♥♥

Super easy to make, baked up beautifully but when I took the first bite I thought I was eating cornbread even though I topped it with homemade cream cheese frosting. The crumb is kind of coarse and it was a little dry. I won’t buy this one again.
