Great tent.
Camped for 7 days. 5 with heavy rain. Not one drop of water in my tent. Absolutely Loved the blackout! If you require light in your tent, bring it with you. Holds Heat though. You will need a fan. Was not easy to put up. 2 people required for assembly. Good quality for the price. Wind resistance great. Very heavy. Only con is ease of assembly.

Withstood the elements
Had the tent up for two months straight while I was participating in a renfair season. It went up against a couple storms and pour downs without ANY issues. Very spacious and while setup takes some effort it is well worth it. And with the blackout feature makes it definitely worth every penny I spent

Genuinely blacks out light!
I don't have any pictures yet just because we haven't used it for more than a day yet. We did a trial run to make sure it came with all the pieces and holy moly this tent gets DARK! Super easy to set up, much like a basic tent. Quality of the tarp and overall tent material is great. In other words you are getting a good value for the price you pay. There will be two of us sleeping in this tent and it's so roomy. I would recommend this tent to everyone!

True four season tent - durable, no rain got in, handled 35mph wind gusts
Have used this tent in sun, rain storms, wind storms, and heavy snow. It has performed beautifully in all conditions, and the darkening effect was MUCH better than expected. It provides total privacy due to no light leakage from the inside at night, and in full sun the tent is extremely dark inside so sleeping in sunny conditions is no problem. Very good ventilation at the top keeps condensation from being a problem. Very durable construction and great zippers that even withstood being frozen when rain changed to snow in one storm in which I used it. After some wiggling, the frozen zippers began to move and nothing was damaged even through those unusual mechanical stresses on the fabric and zippers. Highly recommend.

Not What I Expected
I searched and searched before I found this tent I was looking for a black out rent for my husband, 20 year old son and I. I knew it would be raining so being waterproof was important as well. The only way to fit all 3 of our cots in the tent and still have room to walk we had to put one cot in the front compartment which meant from the outside you could see the cot budging out. Also when my sleeping bag would slide off my cot during the night and hit the tent I would wake up with a wet sleeping bag because of the condensation so anything touching it got wet at night. As far as black out it was fabulous, however when we set the tent up I could see tons of spots where it looks like the tent material was rubbing thin somehow not sure if that happened in transit, so this means I could see the light in those spot it was nothing that would keep you awake but it was noticeable (and there were ALOT). Our tent did leak we never figured out where it was coming from but the front compartment had a least 3 cups of water in it every time if rained. We constantly tripped when walking from the first compartment into the back, there is a zipper that separates those two sides from each other with a lip you have to step over to get into the back sleeping area, I actually tripped fell one time when I was getting ready to exit the tent. Because of that lip and us tripping I can't tell you how many times we knocked everything over in the tent. I would say if you are going to be camping and it is just two people with two cots when it is not going to rain this would be an ok tent. If you had a queen size air mattress there would be no room to walk. If I could I would ask for a refund not happy with the tent at all.

Easy set up/ Quite spacious
We have taken this on a few camping trips and love the extra room. It stayed fairly cool given the outside temps. We love the stargazing roof and how dark the inside can be in the morning light. Set up is fairly quick for 2 people after the first time. We have a queen-sized air mattress and then have a ton of room for all our gear, changing clothes, etc. Nice quality tent that should last quite a while.

I did my research this is the one I picked
We camp in Florida and I was leaning towards a black out tent hoping it would help with the blocking the sun and the tent not getting so hot. I ready a bunch of reviews and went back and forth and went with this one. Trust me, it worth the money. My tent was a lot cooler on the inside then my friends standard tent. Probably by 15 or 20 degrees. We kept the rain fly on. The tent gets really dark in the day time which was great. We ended up putting a small 5,000 btu ac unit in it on the last day just to see if it would hold cold air or not and it actually did. It was 84 outside and the tent was 76 inside. Also with it being a blackout tent it made it great because the other campsites were shining flashlights around and we couldn’t see them at all. I mean this thing is dark dark inside. In the day time you have to have a lamp inside to see or you can just crack the windows to let some light in. If your debating on a blackout tent out tent or not like I was I would get the black out tent 10 times over.
