Excellent product even with my eczema
I love faith in nature products and this does not disappoint. I do not need to use a capsule for a full load of laundry and my clothes are clean and smell fresh. I love the fact these are products are better for the environment and I use 5 litre bottles for a lot of products as they end up working out better value for money and reduce my plastic waste. I have added a pump to my bottle and use a laundry dosing cup to fill and either pour into the drawer of my washing machine or put in the drum. A lot of the time I put directly I to the drum of my washing machine and the dosing cup gets washed with no waste from residue.I have also use this directly into some spills for food that doesn't stain to help with laundering and this is my own idea and not a recommendation from faith in nature.I am very pleased with the laundry detergent but wish it had came with a pump supplied. This bottle is heavy and unless it is being put into smaller bottles would be wvry tricky to pour. I cannot lift it and do not try to as I have fibromyalgia and so using a pump is the safest for me.I have eczema in places and have had allergies tonlajndry detergent in the past, this has given me no problems whatsoever and in fact my skin has had less problems since I started using this. The packaging this comes in is recyclable with plastic waste. The packaging it was delivered in was far to big for this product but was well sealed in a plastic bag and had had no leaks. I was very happy overall, just wish had less card to recycle.

Ecover Laundry Liquid is the very best on the market
Ecover - Excellent washing results. Human and Earth friendly. Lovely smell which is not synthetic and is not overpowering. Clothes come out fresh and clean. This 5L has lasted for almost 5 months and still has at least 10 washes left in the bottle. Good price. Only one problem - difficult to get hold of and now no longer affordable. The price has increased by £10 since May 2024 - that is 6 months! So unfortunate as the best on the market.

Great product
I love this laundry liquid. It’s one of the best natural products I’ve found for laundry. My only complaint is why do they not do a matching fabric conditioner

Generally good product for sensitive skin
I can't use normal laundry liquid because of an allergic reaction so this was my last option to try. I react less to this product with only minimal reaction after wearing clothes with it. I like the smell and you don't need to use it much so the product lasts longer. It is better for the environment. The delivery was fast and efficient. So, many pros. The only two cons are that it does not remove dirt and stains as effectively as normal laundry liquid and it is very expensive. Unfortunately, people like myself, allergic to most chemicals in soaps and laundry liquids have no choice and have to bear the cost.

A more environmentally friendly alternative
If you are looking to reduce the environmental impact of detergents then, short of standing knee deep in the nearest river bashing clothes against rocks, this seems as good as any.It was a cheaper alternative but the price has gone up by almost £4 from July 2019 to March this year which makes it less attractive on value and puts it in competition, in price at least, with other ecological friendly products in what is now a growing market. The container states 150 washes, which on current price works out at 14p a wash – up from just under 12p six months ago – but the 150 figure is not set in stone. Small loads or lightly soiled clothes can be washed with less detergent which will increase the number of washes. We have found it is good for most washing loads, but it does struggle with heavily soiled items without pre-treatment.There is no scent in clothes when they are washed and dried, just a sort of neutral clean smell, a nothing smell really, rather than the fresh, perfumed fragrance from chemical based detergents, and there are no optical brighteners or fluorescing agents in the liquid which means you will not get dazzling whites in bright sunshine.Clean washed whites have a slight grey or yellow cast, hardly noticeable and it is the natural colour, but people wanted whites that shone to show they were really clean, so in the past people used chemicals such as dolly blue to make clothes appear whiter and modern detergent manufactures add synthetic chemicals to create the same effect.Similarly, you will not get lots of foaming which is wrongly associated with cleaning power by many people rather than the surfactants, the wetting agents, which do most of the heavy lifting in detergents, allowing the water to reach the dirt and lift it off.A small point, but important to some people, my son has eczema which is affected by clothes washed in chemical detergents, something which does not happen with items washed in Faith in Nature. We also use soap nuts, obviously, not at the same time as Faith in Nature, and we would be happy to use either as our sole washing product. Both clean well in general, apart from the proviso of heavy soiling needing pre-treatment, both leave fried washing soft and neither leave any residue or chemicals on clothes and, let’s be honest, the main reason we use either, both are much safer for the environment.

Better than expected
Before I switched to Faith in Nature Washing Liquid, I was using Fairy Non-bio Washing liquid, which would do all what was expected, but I was looking into more eco-friendly and cheaper solution. I wanted something that is easy to use, doesn't leave intensive scent and washes clothing well without causing skin irritation. I thought I will give Faith in Nature a go. It's been a month now, since I did the first washing load and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the results this washing liquid gives me. My washing is left with no stains and smelling fresh, but not overwhelming, which is a bit of a surprise after reading reviews about unpleasant smell. I do treat heavy stains before washing though and have always been adding (even with Fairy non-bio) Vanish powder, when wanted to get rid of stains or make my whites looking bright. But even though, I know that if I use the washing liquid only (and again, I do not have to use more then usual), I can expect from it to do the job. I like that the washing liquid comes in a big container, saving me money and leaving less impact on the environment! It is a bit of a shame that the container doesn't come with measure cup, so I just use my old one from another liquid bottle. I am very pleased and will buy again.
