Decided to give this to a phone-obsessed, has everything Gen Zer and she loved it!!! Said it was the 'coolest gift ever'. She is already a kombucha fan and is excited to give it a go at making her own. Awesome presentation with every bit accounted for and authentic high quality feel (far from the usual Cheap/Made in China that most stuff is nowadays!) Bonus points that all packaging is eco-friendly. Super clear presentation booklet with pictures and easy to follow instructions. Will be buying a few more of these for others! Perfect for secret Santas/pass the parcel/gift exchange etc. Am definitely going to win best gift giver amongst the younger crowd this year! Thanks Holos, Christmas is sorted!

Easy to use and easy instructions to follow to keep making kombucha.

Followed instructions to the letter. Kept at a steady 24°, waited and waited and after 17 days realised that there was no scoby just brown water. Waste of £38.

Apart from the jar being 3.2L and not 4L as advertised, it works beautifully. I'd also change the cloth for a more porous one.

Decent pack - it's actually hard to get hold of the jars. The value is in the instructions, teaching how to make kombucha, the measurements and having everything to hand.

Worked ! I was worried after seeing reviews but i know what went wrong. You need a temperature regulator to ensure its at 25 degrees. I have made my 1st batch and grew a SCOBY! Also make sure you sterilise the heck outta everything you use. My second batch i didnt go scored earth because i thought the SCOBY was enough and got mold :( was my own fault tho.

First one I ordered was missing the scoby starter. Stated this was unable to be returned but after a small chat with Amazon customer services who fully refunded. Ordered another, received the same day and the kit was complete. Everything seems great value for money and the brew has been started.

The glass was all smashed but trying to return or ask for a replacement, the response is that the item is not elegible for return!
