*Review is for the Gray Model, Not Black. You can’t go wrong for the price.
As noted in the title, this review is for the gray model, not the black model. Most of the negative reviews seem to be for the black model, which is completely different than this model. The black model is modeled after a semi-auto pistol. This model is like a single-shot pistoled shotgun.I have taken my son to the range for years and even though he loves firing live rounds, he enjoys toy guns like this one. In the simplest form, he said he gun is great – for the price. For under $10.00 at the time of writing, it loads easily, ejects well, trigger is smooth, and after around 50 rounds, there were no stuck rounds. He said they only things he would improve (again, this is a cheaper model, so they aren’t expected) would be a hammer instead of a pull-type loading mechanism. But, this doesn’t take away from any stars since it was designed to be loaded from the bottom.

Fun and accurate.
I know people womn't like it, but I got this to keep my two cats from shredding any more of my furniture. It doesn't hurt them, but startles them and stops their shredding. I have cat trees and scratching posts and pads everywhere for them and this is a last ditch attempt to keep them in my home. There are two of them, both fixed, that have made a mess of everything except the several things I bought for them to shred. I even started buying junk furniture knowing they would shred it, but I'm tired of that. It's my house as well as theirs and if they can't respect this one thing then we will part ways. Anyway, The toy gun is easy to load and shoots a super soft projectile about 7 feet with decent accuracy. It's easy to load and I keep it near me to catch them in the act.

Nice fidget toy
You're not gonna get any decent performance out of it, feels like slightly lower than a Jolt. However, as a fidget toy, it's something you can safely shoot indoors in closed spaces like your room or office etc., it's decent enough as that. The shells have a nice chunky feel to them (I would say easily better than Buzzbee shells), and it feels nice to load them in as well as eject them. The shell doesn't just fly randomly when ejected, you can easily adjust the angle and the ejection force is not super strong or anything, with enough practice, I can see somebody eject the shell directly upwards and catch it before it drops, which would not only be very cool but also adds fun by being a little game in and on itself. The darts that it comes with are suction darts, which is actually fine by me, because the low power precisely makes it easier for them to stick to flat surfaces fairly consistently, they're also not the standard full length size but juuust a little shorter, this actually makes them fit flush on the shells which makes it satisfying to load them in.Also, this little thing is surprisingly versatile, if you don't like the included darts you can easily fit standard full size darts onto the shells (the head will stick out a little bit but this doesn't affect functionality in any way). Wanna use short darts? yeah, they work too, use something (I use another dart myself) to push them all the way down for max performance, or just load 2 of them and shoot them at once (just make sure the 2nd one doesn't fall off the barrel since it will sit loose). Don't feel like ejecting and reloading the shells? Then don't, the barrel is short enough that you can just leave the shell inside and front load it without problem if you want. For me, there's only two cons :1.- Size and grip angle make it slightly awkward to hold for adult hands2.- Mine came with random english words scribbled into the body ("Special" and "Fine"), makes the design look tacky and extremely "chinese toy"

Breech-loading shell-ejecting not-Nerf dart dispenser
Well.My 8yo has an incessant need for a constant Nerf War.He has revolvers, single shotters, lever action, Mandalorian copies, wrist devices, and fully-electro auto massive drum-fed dart tossers.Well. This is finally one that makes me Nerd out.Feed a dart in a tube, breech load it, dispense it, pop the tube and out flies a shell.Yes. Reminds me of the M203, and it's basically that mixed with a Martini-Henry.Fun. Happy with it. Pocket size extra-step Nerf fun.

Okay
This looks good, built well, making the durability and functionality work well.Grandson loves playing with this. It's a good value for the money. Fun for kids.Only 2 thoughts:1. Keep in mind the age is 8+ for recommendation. Theres a great reason for this, as when it's shot, this little "bullet" packs a punch!2. Small parts, as in 2 pieces to a bullet to shoot. (Where shoes) Lol

I want more
This thing functions so darn well it makes me want to get more of em. It doesn't shoot super hard but it shoots fairly straight and the way it ejects the shell is so darn cool! The release is one-handed so you don't need to use your off-hand for it, which makes it a very fast reload. I seriously love this little gun
