Columbia Women's Suttle Mountain Long Insulated Jacket

My daughter absolutely loves this jacket! It's incredibly warm and stylish, fitting her perfectly. The quality is outstanding, and all the handy pockets are a huge plus. Seeing her big smile made this the perfect birthday gift. thanks

I ordered the medium even though an extra small would be my ideal size. I did this because coats have a tendency fit short in the arms and shoulder area, and be super suffocating when wearing a base layer and/or sweaters. It is lightweight, and comfortable so no worries about it being so bulk. The color was perfect and didn't have that "trashbag" look. I haven't tested the wind resistance, because I live in the south, and bought this during the summer (I like to be prepared for cold weather and would rather pay clearance prices now, than premium prices during season), so I'll update on it holds against the cold winds of the water towns. Zipper quality is what you would expect of a premium brand

I own several Columbia jackets and sweaters and they're all great. However, I had been looking for a real winter coat for a long time. I usually wear a large, but purchased an XL thinking I'd probably wear a sweater underneath or something. Without the sweater, it fits well. Just a little loose, but not big at all. Today, it's 32° and very windy. This coat is insulated so air doesn't get through it. It's long and the zipper can be unzipped from the top and the bottom. I find myself unzipping it about 1/3 of the way before I get into my car. The hat has fur, but can easily be removed by unbuttoning the buttons which is what I did. This coat is perfect for winter. Nothing is getting through this baby!

In love with this parka! I bought it this past winter because I realized I didn’t have a WINTER coat. I did some research for other brands and I felt this one was the best for the money. I ordered it a size larger than my normal size and it is wonderful. I can wear a hoodie underneath and still be comfortable. The pockets are great, and it is very stylish. Most importantly, it is WARM. Super happy with my purchase !

I bought the XXL (my normal size is XL-XXL, with 48C bust) and it fit great. It is very well made. However, it is very heavy. Aside from the weight of it, I am not super happy with the way the collar zips up at the top because the hood is not removable so the collar just stands upright to about my nose level. If you keep the hood down, it ends up rubbing on your mouth and face. You have to wear the hood if you don't want that rubbing. I wouldn't say this is jackets is for frigid/arctic conditions. Wore it today (1/14/25) during a cold snap in OH (8F in the a.m.) and I could feel that the sleeves did not have the same insulation material as the body of the jacket. So, the body remained warm, the arms felt cold. Lengthwise (on a 5'7" height) it comes down to about mid-thigh. Very good quality jacket.

Relatively lightweight. Weight is actually from the lined hood but totally worth it. Great coat. Used in single digital temps, snow and light rain. Kept warm and dry. Length is great and appreciate the double zippers so sitting is comfy. Bought an xl so I could layer, so sleeves were longer than I needed but I just turned them up. Love this coat.

Hands down, the best coat I ever owned. It is SO warm and light weight at the same time. The foil lining makes all the difference! I'm always cold and sporting events in the spring and fall are unbearable. This coat has saved me and will keep me in the stands after dark. If you are on the fence about the purchase, DO IT!! The pockets are huge and fit my phone, wallet, sunglasses, gum and more. The faux fur comes off the hood. The zipper allows you to unzip the bottom for sitting. There's nothing about this coat that I don't love!!

This coat is super cute on and good and warm. It fits just right. It is the perfect length. The only thing I don’t love is the pockets but I am use to ones on the side so I can walk with my hands in my pockets comfortably. They are front and vertical. May just need to get used to it. They are secure though and fit phone and keys and gloves well.
