Great product
I've had this system for over 6 months now and I can say that I am very satisfied with it. Well worth the price tag. I tested the water from my tap with a ppm pen and it has 400 ppm. After it's ran thru the r.o. it is 10 ppm. It tastes great and it is so much healthier. After 6 months the reading is about 100 ppm, so it's time to replace the filter. The system gives a reminder to replace the filter when it's time, but I like to test it myself before I spend $30 on a new filter. The system knows what it is talking about. Hope this helps you make you decision.

Well built
I am not new to under sink water filtration. I have been using them for years. This is my first tankless RO system. I replaced a frizzlife 3 filter water purification system with this Stokk RS1 400 gpd because I needed RO water for my humidifier. I have a matching drinking water faucet and sink faucet so I did not need the included RO faucet. The installation was a breeze as the only thing I needed to do was add a drain saddle connection. The creative water tube connections to this box was a cinch to use. Because of the RO membrane, water output will be slower than your average charcoal filter system, keep that in mind. Most will opt for the faster 600 gpd unit but if you dont want to replace your expensive membrane any more than a once a year, you should stick to the 400 gpd.I dont think the plastic cover on the front control panel is necessary at all. Its already hiding in a cabinet. Stokk does provide everything you need except a drill, 1/4" bit and phillips screw driver. You might also need a pair of kitchen shears to trim the tubing. The included thank you letter is a nice touch, talking about the company's start. Stokk cares about the environment and all the waste caused by water bottles. But looking at the filter cartridges they use, they are encased in some heavy duty plastic. Unlike others that I have used in the past, these do not seem to open allowing you to just remove the old filter and or RO membrane. (Confirmed by watching Stokk's filter replacement youtube video.). Which means excess waste in the landfill that will take decades to breakdown. I would like to see development in this area. Sure its super convenient but not green in the least and kinda makes me wonder if I bought the system. This company has US based support and is from Hong Kong. . Jin Fang Technology has 3 trademarks for Stokk that were filed in 2023. So despite being new to the scene their product is seriously well designed.Stokk S1 series filtration meets the following specifications and is certified by SGS, a global certifiacation company. Certs can be found on the Stokk support website.NSF/ANSI 42Filters are certified to reduce aesthetic impurities such as chlorine and taste/odor. These can be point-of-use (under the sink, water pitcher, etc.) or point-of-entry (whole house) treatment systems.NSF/ANSI 58Reverse osmosis systems incorporate a process that uses reverse pressure to force water through a semi-permeable membrane. Most reverse osmosis systems incorporate one or more additional filters on either side of the membrane. These systems reduce contaminants that are regulated by Health Canada and EPA.For those of you who dont read the included manuals, you can extend your 1 yr warranty for a 2nd year by scanning the QR code found in the last page if the book.

Filters don't last
I love this system! Easy to install, fits neatly under the counter. I was disappointed to need a filter change in 11 months, especially since I live alone. I didn't see warning lights, it just suddenly stopped working and both filter lights were red. I recommend having the filters on hand because otherwise you'll be without water for a few days. Other than the filter life, it's great.

Healthier Water 💧
I haven't bought a water bottle in months. The system is very easy to install. Just need a Diamond tip drill if you have a granite countertop (verify the size needed). The system is quiet and has a small footprint. Build quality is top tier and the water quality is unbelievable.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY this wasteful system!!!
READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!! Installed the Stokk 600 (S 1 Pro) about 4 month ago. The system is lightly used every day. We started to notice a strange taste of the water. I made multiple tests and found very weird results. As many others already mentioned, you must waste over a min of water running before the TDS is acceptable. My city tap water is 150 TDS and filtered water starts with 90 TDS (red zone level), you need to waste a lot of water before you get acceptable 30 TDS. This goes against their claim that it wastes less water. After being off for 2-3 hours the TDS will initially read 90s again. This is very inconvenient when you only want a quick glass of water. You must know about this before buying this wasteful system.

RV install
The Bad: The Stokk we received did not work properly. I contacted their Customer Support. Over several emails it was determined the unit needed replacement and a new one was sent. I must say I have never had a better experience working with Customer Support. The Good: I resisted adding an RO to our RV because all RO systems produce waste water while producing drinking water. We like to boondock, so efficient water use is something i pay attention to. I find that when we plug it in it will flush the system using 5 cups of water. Thereafter it is always on for the rest of the trip. I find that for each cup we dispense it only sends 1/2 cup of waste water to our gray tank. Not bad! My wife LOVES its water quality and rate of flow. I think we have a winner for our needs.
