The NYXI Hyperion Pro Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch is fantastic! It worked right out of the box and feels great in the hands. As someone with big hands, this controller was a must-have, and I’m thrilled that it performs perfectly.However, there are a couple of things to note. The controllers install slightly loose, so you need to be careful not to lift or store the console by the controllers. Doing so might damage the Switch’s ports, rendering them unusable. Always grab the console by the screen when handling it outside of gaming.I also love the customizable features and color options. That said, one downside is the advertised ability to upgrade the pad. Unfortunately, the upgrade pads aren’t available anywhere, which is disappointing.Overall, it’s a great product with just a few minor caveats to keep in mind.

These controllers are not worth the price. I have only had them for a few months and they have already broke where they connect to the switch and the connecting block. This connection is not strong at all. I would not recommend these.Update: After this review the company was very responsive and sent a replacement. The material seemed slightly different than the original. It has been several months now and this new one is holding up better. I am upping the number of stars due to great customer service and what seems to be a better product this second round.

I have several of these Hyperion Pro controllers, as well as the newer Hyperion 2, which is easily one of the best controllers I've ever used. Of the Nyxi controllers I own, there have been one or two issues that the company was very quick to offer support and resolve. That's really all one can ask for, knowing that the company stands behind their products and provides great support. I'm really satisfied with the quality of their products and excellent customer service. I look forward to what the company produces, hopefully including the Nintendo Switch 2!

My switch was collecting dust. A major part of that, besides finding the time, was how uncomfortable playing with the joycons work. After countless hours of research and watching endless YouTube videos, I was sold on the Nyxi Hyperion. Of course there was a pro model with “non drift” joysticks, but I figured, why wouldn’t the original model be just as good. And if I experienced drift, this would be well into the time I spent with the controller. I even payed for next day shipping, that’s how badly I wanted the darn thing. At first, I was ecstatic, it felt like this was the product I had always been waiting for. Aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, lightweight, and did I mention comfortable?(both as joycons and as a whole) After spending three days with my switch, things seemed great until. Right Controller: Major drift on the right hand joystick. Top right button presses down on its own. Button mapping resets by itself. Colored lights toggle mode and colors by itself.Left: some drift . I saw a few one star reviews that experienced similar issues and yet I still decided to test the product out for sure. I tried trouble shooting the issues before returning the product. I wish success to the company. The vision is great but there is a lack in quality of the product. Not sure if I should give the pro version a shot or just look for a new product all together. I was hesitant to purchase an 8bitdo product, as they don’t offer joycon alternatives, just pro controller alternatives.
