Motul C5 Chain Paste

Very nice. Lubes the chain well. And no lube got sprayed on the rim after the 1st ride after applying it like other lubes that mess up the rim.

Thing I like : 1. Grease is heavy and clings properly 2. Being heavy > dampens vibrations 3. Clings well, good for coastal rides and while travelling long distance in humid environment or during rains 4. Very convenient to apply Things I deducted the 1 star for 1. Requires a lot of chain cleaner to clean (which is fine as it's supposed to cling) 2. Is a dirt and dust magnet (thus you need to carefully apply and not be excessive 3. The cap is friction fit,thus during trips, you have to carry it carefully as the cap might open and your bag be full of paste (Also kudos for timely delivery, I got it just before my trip)

Decent product ....but this paste is of no use in India ....as there is lot of dust .....water usually washes the paste....use a dry lube instead

Superb product to use for chain protection

Good lubricant but attracts dirt and turns into grime. Very hard to clean off once applied. So the dirty grease stays on the chain. Maybe good for rains to use as waterproof coating but i would rather stick to a spray.

Ok, this is very expensive.. But all those people who ride expensive bikes, should not think twice before spending a bit on this one. Absolutely no throw on your wheels after fresh application. Chain becomes quite silent. But need to use it more frequently than conventional chain lubes.. But the very fact that it doesnt make any mess on the wheels will make me stick to this product. One star less because.. Its very expensive and it takes almost a month to receive the product after ordering.
