Lethal
Certainly does the job, but don't get anything of yours caught in them. Bit fiddly to bait them, you have to just get a splodge of peanut butter on the end of a knife and poke it in. I like that they create a tunnel effect inviting the visitors in.

Poor quality The plastic locking clip has broken upon 1st use Definitely would not recommend these traps

Plastic
These are plastic - no metal components apart from the spring! Difficult to assemble and continually coming apart. There were triggered several times but on no occasion was the perpetrator caught! Disappointing and subsequently returned for a refund.

Very simple to use
I saw a rat on my wall, bought the traps and poison set Rats won’t touch the traps for maybe a week, they know when something is new/different, As I have a nut allergy I can’t use peanut butter so I use jam or tuna, anything sticky or oily works well. The rat goes in and tries to eat the bait, and the trap activates. You squeeze the trap to reset and drop the rat to dispose of. You may notice the trap moves out of place a few times before they go in. A good buy and a safer trap for you to use.

No idea if they work yet - fox gets into them and took one away
They appear robust and easy to use. There are 2 clips to fasten the housing together so they dont come open - or thats what I thought.........Until the 1st time I put both of them out by the fence under shrubs with a dollop of peanut butter, One trap has disappeared altogether and the other has been opened. Nothing inside.....Could be there is a fox with a sore nose or paw. So cannot confirm if its an effective as a rat catcher. Certainly foxes appear to like it (am assuming). So only one left now. Going to have to fasten it down somehow.
