Very nice Omelette maker!
I read all the reviews before buying this for my boyfriend who loves Omelettes. I was worried because a lot of people said that two of them was not enough for one meal and my boyfriend loves a big Omelette. I was also concerned when a lot of people said theirs burned a lot. I decided to try it anyway because the good reviews outweighed the bad reviews by a wide margin. Our results turned out great. We use ham, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and cheese on our Omelettes. I mixed one batch up with three x-extra large eggs to divide between the two compartments. I cooked them nine minutes based on users suggestions since the directions are terrible and tell you nothing of value. After nine minutes it was getting rather brown on the bottom part and was not completely done inside. I did not want them cooked longer so I did what I would do if I cooked them in the frying pan. I popped them into the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes to finish the cooking inside so they would not get too brown. They were delicious. The next time we used it we still used the same ingredients but less of them and the Omelettes turned out perfectly. We did not fill the reservoirs completely. The only drawback was smaller Omelettes so we each ate two. Just had to make four of them. Overall, we will probably add all the ingredients we want with still three eggs, cook them 9 minutes and finish them in the microwave. Buy doing the finishing in the microwave you can also add more cheese and I find it makes them taste better. He is very happy with his gift and we will use it often. Also, clean up was a breeze.

GAME CHANGER - RESTAURANT QUALITY ON YOUR COUNTER
Not sure why some of the (partially) negative reviews. This little guy really performs. My husband and I got tired of sloppy, runny egg dishes or long quiche-making process and messy kitchen and clean-up.SIZE: Great for individual or couple but not for family or group. The two sides make a nice portion for one person or shared for two.FIRST MEAL: Did fresh crab/fresh basil/sweet red pepper/scallions/shaved Parmesan frittata. Sautéed ingredients w/ seasoning. Mixed up frothy 6 eggs & milk mixture as would normally for quiche or frittata.COOKING: That produced 3 “rounds” in the cooker. Used 1/3 cup measure, put a little egg mixture in bottom of each. Added other ingredients, then filled both halves to TOP of section. NOTE: Instructions tell you to fill JUST A LITTLE BELOW. Going to TOP allowed eggs to rise just enough to touch top of grill so it BROWNED nicely. No spill over.TIME TO COOK: Approx 10 minutes or slightly less. You can open the lid without a problem to check.

Been working great so far
Got this initially to make Omelettes, but have also made Blueberry Pancakes. While some people have complained that the non-stick surface doesn't work very well we have not had any major issues with it. I do a very light coating of Olive Oil spray top and bottom, lightly wiping it on with a tissue before turning it on, and then start heating up.For Omelettes that all I need to do, and they come out just fine with no sticking. For pancakes it typically takes between 6 - 8 minutes and then I flip the pancakes over and go for another couple of minutes. Then before the second batch I do a light spray of Olive Oil on the bottom surface and pour the next batch of batter.Again, the pancakes come right out with no sticking. Once in a while if the blueberry gets on the divider that might stick just a little bit on the second batch of pancakes, but it is easy enough during cleanup to remove.Using the Olive Oil spray makes cleanup a breeze.Pros:Once you get used to the maker you can get very consistent results.Pros:After a short learning period it is very easy to achieve consistent results.Cons:It would be nicer if this was a little larger. Some people may prefer slightly larger Omelettes, but it is OK for us.There is no power switch so you want to be sure to unplug it when you have finished the last batch. This is a pretty simple device so hopefully it will last quite a while. But I expect that at some point it will wear out and when it does I would order another one since it is not very expensive.
