Good coffee, quality and price

I’ve never had this brand before because I’m new to the coffee machine I’ve purchased. I find these to be an exceptional price for the amount you care. Yes like others have said they’re very strong but that’s how I like my Coffee. I didn’t understand why there was so much air in the packaging but then I realised they’re pumping a smell of coffee into it so you can smell coffee when you open it to give you that whole experience because the pods don’t smell of anything so that’s quite clever. I thought other than that they brew well aroma great and the strength is solid

Great tasting coffee. They claim the pods are compostable, but every pod is individually packaged in thin plastic which is not!

This is a good addition to my Lavazza subscription. Intense flavour, Slightly smasller volime than Lavazza (fon'y trally know why)

3+ I normally use Lavazza pods but thought I would try these. They are less expensive & worth a go. I was not expecting like for like and indeed it is not. This coffee brought back memories of village French cafes 20 years ago. The flavour is thin and sharp, it leaves a strong pleasant taste in the mouth but I call it rustic. I enjoyed it. Lavazza has more depth, is richer,is less astringent on the palate. Will I buy more borboné, Yes, will I also buy Lavazza yes but price dependant.

A nice change of type of coffee, nice taste and a lot of capsules.espresso short shot is very good.im pleased to have a different style of coffee not that lavazza isn't nice.id say it was more like perculator coffee without a big pot to drink, very nice.

Bitter (not in a good way) and watery with zero crema. Each to their own but I was disappointed. No option to return either doesn't help either.

Don’t waste money on lavazza ! These are brilliant Get 50 for less cost than 16 in a shop Honestly I’m a fussy got with things like this but These are worth a punt if unsure

Dopo aver provato diverse miscele della linea Borbone, posso affermare con sicurezza che la miscela nera ha conquistato un posto fisso nella mia routine quotidiana. È il classico caffè che non solo ti sveglia, ma ti mette anche di buon umore al primo sorso. La qualità complessiva è evidente già dall’aroma che sprigiona appena la macchina si avvia: intenso, avvolgente, con quelle note tostate che anticipano un gusto deciso. Il sapore è esattamente ciò che ci si aspetta da una miscela “nera”: forte, ricca e con una corposità che riempie il palato. Perfetto per chi ama l’espresso all’italiana, senza compromessi e con quel tocco leggermente amaro che lascia una piacevole persistenza. Uno degli aspetti che più ho apprezzato è la consistenza della crema, densa e compatta, come nei migliori caffè da bar. Anche la compatibilità con le macchine Lavazza A Modo Mio è impeccabile: la capsula si inserisce senza difficoltà e funziona alla perfezione, senza intoppi né sprechi. Rispetto ad altre miscele della stessa linea, come la rossa o la blu, la miscela nera si distingue per l’intensità. La rossa, ad esempio, è più delicata e morbida, mentre la nera è per chi cerca un caffè deciso e “vero”, che dia quella spinta in più al mattino o dopo i pasti. Inoltre, a differenza di altri marchi compatibili che spesso peccano in aroma o cremosità, qui si ha la sensazione di un prodotto curato, ben bilanciato e di qualità costante da capsula a capsula. Morale della favola? Se cercate un espresso corposo, aromatico e intenso, che non abbia nulla da invidiare a quello del bar, la Don Carlo Miscela Nera è una scelta sicura. Un ottimo equilibrio tra gusto e qualità, a un prezzo più che competitivo.
