YETI Rambler Replacement Lid with Straw Fits 42 oz Straw Mug

I’ve been using a Yeti for five years for hot beverages. As the negative reports regarding plastic bottles proliferated, I decided that there had to be a better way for me to have my water with me at all times instead of just buying a bottle of water and adding to the landfills. The Yeti lid with straw is perfect for his purpose. The lid is tight fitting, and I have knocked it over and not spilled a drop. The straw is designed to not come out of the lid unless you want it to as it’s got a ridge around it to keep it from coming all the way out. The best part however is that you have cold water whenever you need it. I have increased the amount of water I drink daily as a result of regularly using the Yeti. I had a few ice cubes fill the cup and it goes where I go or it’s on my nightstand overnight for a quick sip if I become thirsty. I think it’s just great and I bought one for a friend who agrees with me that it really has been a game changer in terms of drinking more water but not adding to the plastic problem.

These are the cats meow. Wife and I love doing slushy drinks out of our yeti’s, they stay cold forever and the straw makes it just taste better. Easy to clean, very heavy built straw. Has a buildup on one end of straw, so you can’t pull it thru lid to prevent loss. The seal on cup is excellent and this is perfect for the cup. Dishwasher safe.

I bought this lid for my Rambler 20 oz tumbler, thinking it would be safer to use the straw while driving (as opposed to tipping the tumbler into my field of view using the original lid). This lid works fine for driving and for general use. The lid and straw fit securely and are easy to clean. The price is reasonable so I'd recommend getting this "genuine" product instead of an aftermarket version. Overall a very good product.

I got this because I drink more with a straw. It’s been extremely helpful to stay hydrated at work. Quality is good. No leaking issues.

Fits fine although the seal is not as strong as I was hoping. I just bought a new Yeti tumbler and the seal in the lid is tight. I bought this lid to replace for an older tumbler. It’s slightly tighter than the old lid I just replaced.
