Gets you through some serious low tide mud. Takes some time to get used to how it operates and needs near full power to not stall when breaking through the cavitation into the solid water but then it takes off fast.There is no reverse! No neutral either other than lifting properller out of the water.Will litterally propel through liquid mud and sand. Pretty cool.In salt water the muffler and some bolts are rusting within a week as well as anywhere the heavyduty enamel wears or scratches on the frame. Should last at least a year amd maybe 5 before muffler turns to dust.If I bought again I would go for the larger motor... 15hp instead of 7.5... But who doesnt want faster and more power :)Also an electric start would be awesome since it stalls often penetrating cavitation and sharp u turning without near full power (speed). Usually takes at least a few pulls to start. Definitelty worth $350 if it fits your needs. It did arrive with a misaligned frame but the seller replaced that at no cost. Also no instructions so find a video to help.

Pretty sure this it almost an exact copy of the mudd skipper twister. It’s surprisingly well made and if you’re somewhat mechanically inclined you can figure out how to put it together fairly easily. The gas cap was broken and gas tank was dented (still functional) but other than that it wasn’t too terribly packed. The engine started right up and ran pretty good with little adjustments. Haven’t had it out on the water yet but after some research on it and owning a long tail I have a good idea how it’ll work. My only real gripe is the lack of a transom mount option, I’m pretty sure they used to offer it but oh well.

Junk ordered this kit both items showed up damaged than went back and forth with amazon for 2 weeks and im out the money and still no working mud motor

The motor works. It came with a broken housing for the oil, we were offered to either find a housing here locally which was impossible because this thing was made by children and in a country around the world or they could send us another. They sent us another that received a few weeks later and it was absolutely nothing like the housing that was on the motor already. My husband ended up having to make the broken housing work because the replacement did not fit and was not watertight. Everything on it has started to rust almost immediately and it has only been in the water twice and rinsed both times. The run and choke are in opposite position so be aware of that when you run it the first time. The motor does go. It will go pretty quick even. But it's not quite what we were expecting. Maybe research a little more.

I wish I could find a transom Mount for it. Runs great haven't taken it out yet
