I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.

These strips have helped me track my ketosis but maybe 5% of the strips seem to be duds. That is better than other brands I have used where maybe 50% of the strips didn't work. I prefer to buy only this brand for that reason. Helpful for me, especially since I can't stand blood, so I prefer testing urine for ketones. Not bad.

I know some other people were having issues with similar products not working, but these are very sensitive and fantastic. Easy to use and easy to read - not finicky like a pregnancy test. They colors match up well to the guide on the bottle. They’re a must buy if you’re starting keto and need to get a read on if you’re on the right track or kicking yourself out of ketosis. I test a few times a day to see if I’m eating too many carbs for my body and I’m on week 3 of keto. They help to see how quickly you recover from cheat meals as well.

My son has been T1D for five years and we've found these to be the best ketone strips. We have tried to buy others that are less expensive because we have to send them to school, but these are the most accurate.

Probably the best test strip out there for accuracy, but I find the date codes are very close to the date received and by the time I get to end of bottle only part of the test strip changes color, no longer reactive.

I’m happy to see that they actually change colors based off your ketones. I tested one in my daughter’s urine and it did not change colors but this one did (that’s from me and I’m on clean Keto). It motivates me to keep going, as well as losing the weight I have already!
