Keeps brown sugar nice and soft
Great little product. Soak it in water. Put it with your hard brown sugar and let it do its magic. In 2 days it soften the sugar and not just the top, but all the way to the bottom.

Sugar Bears
These are perfect to keep your brown sugar soft. I use them all of the time so brought them for my granddaughters.

Works Amazingly
I had actively crystalized brown sugar and thought I'd try putting it in before just dumping what I had and replacing it. There was a small chunk that stayed solid but almost the whole container was good as new after a few days with the bear in it.

Broken in transit.
One of the two arrived broken. Otherwise they were nice.

These are a hazard and you won’t be able to return them
Buyer beware!!! You can’t return these, which is a load of crap! Speaking of crap, the product is crap too. I bought several of these, and not only was one moldy, but most of the rest were cracked and chipping, and I’m not about to put that in my food. These are a health hazard, do not buy them!! Also the picture looks like the original sugar bear, but that is deceptive. These bears don’t look like the pic and they also feel different, and of course, as previously mentioned, the quality inferior. These are a bad knock off and probably not even made of terracotta.

Maybe, time will tell …
They are cute, however one came decapitated. I had to peel a label off the box to find the instructions. Once I read the directions, I put them in water and it appeared not to soak, but like it has a hole in it taking on water. Hopefully water will not drain out of it into the sugar as that would just make a mess. Also, I am worried that the “stone” will flake into my food as the bear is very flaky looking and I have bits everywhere (but that could be from the decapitated bear).
