I couldn’t be happier with my Rove dash cams. The cameras themselves are fantastic; clear video, reliable performance, and very easy to use right out of the box. Setup was straightforward and day-to-day operation is seamless. I have 5-one for each car... When I did run into an issue, Rove’s tech support really stood out. Their team worked with me patiently to troubleshoot and try to resolve the problem. In the end, when it was clear replacement was the best solution, they handled it without hassle and made it right with fast shipping and return label. Great product backed by excellent customer service. That combination is hard to beat. I would absolutely recommend Rove dash cams to anyone looking for quality and peace of mind on the road.

After a couple of years enjoying the Rove R2-4K dash cam I decided to get another for our other car. I selected the R2-4K Dual this time to provide more vehicle coverage. The included instructions were straightforward making Installation and setup relatively easy. (YouTube videos were particularly helpful with routing the cable for the rear camera in our SUV.) I did submit a question via email for customer support which was answered in less than an hour and walked me through the steps that I had overlooked. Overall, I’m very happy with the results, the video quality, and the excellent coverage from the cameras. I was so pleased with this product that I bought one as a gift for my brother in law. I highly recommend either of these cameras.

I had a little bit of a problem as I needed a slightly longer USB-A to USB-C cord that's included with this Rove camera, so I bought a USB-A to USB-A extension cord. Unfortunately, that didn't end up working and after a lot of troubleshooting, the unit would not stay powered with the extension cable being used. It was getting power, but wouldn't turn the Rove unit on when the car started. After weeks of troubleshooting, I purchased a new USB-C to USB-C cord which ended up working. This unit is nice and reliable, easy to set up, and I like the addition of the rear camera which was pretty easy to install. Overall, this took me about 30-60 minutes to pull off interior body trim, but with plenty of storage, the app also uses Wifi, its pretty easy to use and the camera angle is very wide and perfect! I would reccomend this unit for its front AND rear camera, but if you need a longer cord, go with a USB-C to USB-C cord to avoid the mistake I made!

I just purchased the Rove R2-4K Dual Dash Cam this week and have not had time to evaluate the Dual yet. However, I purchased the R2-4k little over two years ago and have been very satisfied with it and it’s the reason I purchased another Rove Dash Cam for myself. Installation of both has been quite easy although installing the rear camera in a 2023 Silverado can be somewhat of a challenge getting the wiring under the trim of the vehicle. I did have some issues with connecting the Dash Cam to the Rove App. I’m still old school so I still have an IPhone SE 3rd Generation which has quite of a small screen, so when prompted in the App to Tap the Green Button which is (Yes Go Next), I couldn’t because only a tiny bit of green was showing and If you tried pinching to make it smaller or moving the screen up, then the button would not work but tapping just the tiny bit of the green button and it did work. I was a little concerned when I tried calling Tech Support and finding out that you had to either email the help desk or text your issues to them. So, I text them and in less than 1 minute Jennifer responded the help with my issues. I was very impressed with her quick response and eagerness to solve my problem. Both cameras are up and running and I may purchase a third. The video quality and sound are very clear, and the wide-angle view captures everything you would need in the event of an accident. I’ve been so pleased with the Rove Dash Cam that when I retired, I purchased three for my staff members when I left. So, to date I’ve purchased a total of five Rove Dash Cams. (Good Quality Dash Cam), (Good Customer Service) and when I purchased the Rove Dual on Amazon it was at my door in less than 3 hours. I would definitely buy again and recommend the Rove Dash Cam R2 4K and Dual to a friend. Sometime that little bit of security is key.

Honestly expected some knock-off janky dash cam for the price, but decided to trust the reviews and got a great lightning deal (just over $100). An early review 3 days in, but I felt compelled to leave one. Hopefully these cams are never needed, but I must say, from the second I opened the box, I knew this was a solid product and now I have a piece of mind should some crazy Jersey driver (you know who you are) ruin my day. The packaging is very professional and well-labeled. Combined with the great instruction manual (real English, not Chinese-English) and a great app, I was able to format the SD card and have the cams up in literally 3 minutes on my workbench. These are literally plug and go. In other words, there are a ton of customizable options, but these cams literally do what they're meant to from the second they're powered on. Turn on your car, they start recording. Very high quality too. Was surprised driving home last night on dark highways how much ambient light and visibility was in the live video well beyond what I could see with my headlights. 128GB memory capacity should be MORE than enough for this purpose. For those wondering about hiding all the USB cabling for both cams, the package comes with a half dozen tiny 3M clips to help with the matter, and a plastic trim tool to help tuck cabling around your windshield, side curtains, etc.

I purchased the ROVE R2-4K Dual Dash Cam in October of 2025. Instructions were easy to follow & installation was simple. There are several videos available if you need additional help. Camera quality is amazing; the clarity is better than I imagined. I had one hiccup with my rear camera, it was stuck in night-vision. I tried a few different things to get it cleared. I ended up calling customer service. I was blown away by the quality of their customer care. They walked me through a few steps to try and troubleshoot the issue and they ended up replacing the rear camera. They were very patient with me and extremely helpful. I would recommend this dash cam or any product from them just based on the quality of the one I have and their amazing customer service!

I rarely (if ever) write reviews for products, even though I (my wife) buys thousands. But here we go. This is a 11/10. I purchased this for my wife's car and I's, and then for my cousin for his birthday. The interface simple to use yet comprehensive. The video quality is phenomenal! The field of view is excellent and really shows the sides of the car for those drivers turning in your lane. The only issue is my car is parked outside 24/7 at home and work. In Florida, it bakes (broils?) the inside of the car, and the suction cup started failing, and ultimately completely failed. I reached out to customer service and they responded within minutes. In fact, their average response time is like 5 minutes and its a human. Anyways, they were empathetic, made a few recommendations to try, and ultimately, are sending out a replacement suction holder attachment to get me back on the dash! Its great to have a top notch product, but to also have the quality customer service is something rarely seen in today's world!
