This item is a quality body and scalp oil with a pleasant scent. I've been looking everywhere for Aveda Energizer Composition Oil because its lightweight, it feels nice, works well, has the absolute best scent ever, and the shine, and moisturizing quality for body, scalp and massage for me is irreplaceable. All those features would last throughout the day, getting milder as the day progressed. Aveda discontinued the Aveda Energizing Composition Oil. Aveda Beautifying Oil again. It's still great quality, but the scent and longevity of scent simply doesn't compare to Aveda Energizing Composition Oil for me personally. It does check off all the other qualities of Aveda body and scalp oils. I feel good about recommending Aveda Scalp and Body Oils. I had an Aveda Salon show me how to apply it on my scalp because there is a right and wrong way to apply it on your scalp and skin. I always dot it or put a tiny bit on my hands rubbing it in well before sliding it down onto your hair. I'll use Aveda Beautifying Composition Oil until it's gone and then start searching for comparable body and scalp oils closest to Aveda Energizing Composition Oil. I really miss that product. I'm hoping that they start manufacturing and selling it again.

I love this oil and the scent. I use it every day on my skin after my shower.

I have used Aveda's Beautifying Composition for years and years. I am fortunate to have inherited my mother's skin appearance--clear (with freckles from my dad) and smooth. However, years bring baggage of dullness, stress stuff and "lines". Having used the oil for so long has been a delight to my skin and, almost daily, I receive compliments from friends and strangers alike. I order this age-defying product through Amazon and, when I open a new bottle, I go on-line and secure its replacement immediately. Regarding the reviewer who commented on the "inorganic" ingredients . . . . I am not adverse to such ingredients as soy, etc., although our daughter, an acupuncturist, heads up a 21-day dietary cleanse routine about four times a year throughout the country. She suggests reading the ingredients on the bottles of products you ingest and those you put on your skin, which is the largest organ in/on your body. "If you can't pronounce it, you probably don't want to ingest it." These ingredients look good enough to eat! I give this product a ***** for good reasons. I use this to take make up off and to moisturize. I keep it on my night stand and use it before bed most nights. My partner loves it too because it makes my face smell so nice at bedtime. I’ve been using it for years and now my 12 year old and partner use it too!

Mostly great , however it works great on the body and dries my face out. But the hidden gem is its sister product Aveda’s botanical kinetics face cream with a touch of Vaseline after washing our cleansing your face at night, makes you face feel and look super fantastic.

My daughter went to school at Aveda S.A. I was introduced to this at that time. Wonderful stuff & multipurpose. Long day at work & want to soak drop some of this in bath water & omg absolutely most relaxing stuff to soak in & your skin & hair feel amazing. My daughter uses it to take make-up off. On your feet all day put a few drops of this in the foot bath soak your feet & your feet will thank you. Love this stuff it is an amazing product. I will continue to buy over & over.

This oil is amazing! I use it in my scalp and on my face after shaving. It moisturizing and conditioning in an oil at the same time ❤️

Such a delicate mild fragrance that is clean and soft. I use this to give extra moisture to the aging dry skin on my legs and arms. Knowing it is a clean and organic oil - cruelty free as well - makes it a lovely addition to my skin care routine.

Love the smell and yes it does reduce the lines on the face. Gives the skin a glow, smoothness and moisturises well.

I have been using this oil for a long time. Even on my face and really boosts your hair. It’s quite pricey. I always shop around and happened to find a wee bit cheaper on Amazon. Aveda sometimes have offers but it is usually the delivery charge puts it up. Would thoroughly recommend this product. Young or old. I am 75 and swear it has helped my wrinkles look not so pronounced.
