Kershaw Mini Iridium Folding Pocket Knife, 3 inch D2 Steel Blade, DuraLock, Aluminum Handle, Pocketclip

This is my daily EDC. Super smooth opening. The bearings on it make opening effortless, it almost feels like it is assisted opening (it is not assisted opening though). Blade size is great for everyday use and overall comfortable on the hand. I've had it for 6 months now and it holds an edge really good. The locking release mechanism is solid gives me comfort to fully trust it while using the blade. Only slight hesitation is blade can be slightly slick to hold without any texturing in the scales.

Perfect companion to my larger version, fits in my watch pocket in jeans, and shorts with smaller pockets. Also, the black clip doesn’t stand out to say, I’m carrying a knife! Build is spot on, sharpness is perfect. Lightweight, but not cheap feeling. Smooth opening and closing.

Sweet knife. There are cheaper D2 knives out there, but this one looks less tactical and more premium. The aluminum scales are less grippy that traditional g2 scales, but it's fine if your hands aren't wet. I do wish the body was slightly longer. There is a full-size version, but that one was bigger than I wanted. If you have larger hands and squeeze hard while you're flicking the blade closed, the tip of the blade might graze your palm. It's so sharp out of the box, I didn't realize I cut myself. This isn't the knife I grab when I'm doing heavy work, but I have used it to baton wood while camping. It's not my most practical knife, but it is one of my nicest looking. I don't regret buying it. I like it way more than my Kershaw Leek.

I’m a big Benchmade fan. Their Axis lock system is super amazing—but so is the price. I love my Bugout, but another Benchmade just isn’t in the budget. I own a drawer full of other knives, including a Kershaw Leek that I really like for its simplicity and blade shape. But I wanted another Axis lock knife. When I started looking for an Axis-style lock alternative, a lot of folks on knife forums pointed to the Iridium, so I picked one up. It wasn't love at first sight. Too many screw holes and slots made the knife look busy, and I even started a return. But after a day of handling it, the mechanism began to sink in and feel right. The balance between blade and handle is just right for this type of lock, and once I got used to the action, it grew on me. The blade itself is solid tool steel, sharp, centered, and finished nicely. The shape works well for everyday tasks. My only ding is a slight flex, just a fraction of a millimeter, when pressing down on the spine with the blade fully deployed. It doesn’t affect performance, but the Bugout doesn’t have that issue. That’s probably the difference between a $50 knife and one that costs over $200. Overall, I think the Iridium is a solid buy. It’s a well-made, functional knife at a great price, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. Note: I like helping people decide if a product is worth buying. I use other people's reviews to guide my purchases, so I feel like I'm giving back. A 3-star review means the product is average. Nice everyday carry knife that opens and closes using one hand. It features a very sharp single bade made of D2 steel that renews nicely with occasional stropping. Large enough to be useful several ways but slim enough not to be bulky in my pocket. I own several high quality pocket knives but this is the one I almost always carry.

I tried both this and its larger sibling which was definitely too big. I was was worried this one would be too small in the hand but actually it feels really good even in my big hands. Lovely thin slicey blade that holds and edge. My current favorite for edc

So far so great! Great fit and finish also came quite sharp definitely sharp enough for most applications! Lightweight and the ergonomics seem great! Grip is not slick but also very smooth in the hand. Very fun to open and close!
