EOS R3 Eyecup Eyepiece, Eye Cup Viewfinder for Canon EOS R3 Camera, Replaces Canon ER-H Eyecup Eyepiece, Soft Silicone Material, Not Affect The Use of LCD Screen

The original eyecup for my Canon R3 had started to tear after a couple years of abuse swinging around from my shoulder while shooting weddings, so I needed a replacement. Found this one, and its price is great compared to a factory replacement. Installation is super easy, just slide off the old one, and slide this one in place. It clicks in and locks in place for a secure fit, and seems to offer the same if not better visibility and padding as the Canon one. For this price, I can't see anyone buying an original one for more money.

Better than the original, more durable, better fit, better quality

I recently upgraded to the EOS R3 Eyecup Eyepiece for my Canon EOS R3 Camera, and it has been a game-changer. This eyecup is noticeably softer and more comfortable against my eye compared to the OEM version, making long photography sessions much more enjoyable. Additionally, it stays firmly attached to the camera and doesn't fall off, unlike the OEM eyecup which constantly needed readjustment (I even had to use a rubber band to keep it from falling off!). After three months of regular use, this replacement eyecup shows no signs of tearing or wear, proving to be more durable than the original. Overall, this eyecup is a superior choice for any EOS R3 user looking for comfort and reliability.

This is head and heels better than the stupid on that comes with the EOS R3. You literally will barely notice a difference other than the fact that there's actually cushion there now and it doesn't want to peel back off the corners. It feels like a premium product, and looks great. Durability definitely feels like it's going to hold up for a long time. Very easy to install, clicks into place more confidently than the original. Just as much screen protection as the original. Easy to recommend and highly encouraged!

Fit the Canon R3 like a glove and now i dont have to worry about it ripping like the OEM one.. Deff worth the money

Purchased to replace the original eyepiece supplied with the R3. This version is SO MUCH better !!!! Being a single layer of silicone, it won't be prone to tearing like the original. It is also very comfortable when using and appears to have a tighter fit when mounted, which hopefully helps prevent the eyepiece from accidentally getting dislodged.

You're probably here for the same reason as I was, the OEM eyepiece kept falling off, shredded itself and you need a replacement. Let's start with the positives. 1) By far it's greatest quality, it doesn't fall off every single time a satellite goes overhead. Honestly I have no idea what they did different to the OEM, but after half a year of use and abuse, this one just stays on. No more finding it in the bottom of your camera bag, no more getting down on the grass to look for your eyepiece, it's on your camera ready to go. 2) Looks wise it more or less matches the camera. Nobody has looked at it and asked what *that* thing on the back of my camera is. So then, why not five stars? Well, it's not particularly comfortable. The listing says soft and flexible, and it is. There just isn't enough soft and flexible area to make it really comfortable and fully block out stray light. Maybe that's just a user interface error particular to just this user though, as other reviewers seem to love it.

It's amazing what a difference this little thing makes vs the soft flimsy pos canon put on the r3. This eyecup is so much better than the stock one.
