Having taken the police Scotland test and only failing the info handling part, I have been invited to retake the test. I bought this book, as online, there is only one example info handling paper given by police Scotland to practice on, and therefore thought this would hammer the skills necessary to pass into me. This book is no where close to as difficult as the police Scotland test is, and if you practice with this book, you will get a shock when taking the exam for real. Maybe this book will be OK just to get yourself some rhythm before going in for the exam, but do not be fooled into thinking it is as easy as this book.

I thought I would be well prepared after practicing and practicing. The book is nothing like the actual test, I failed and it’s quite common. Don’t waste your money and go on police training website. I have to re-sit, hopefully will pass and get to next stage to achieve my dream.

Don't really know how to describe it. It definitely helped getting me in to the mind set of looking for the information and the process on how to get a answer.Some of the answers in the book were wrong though and the chart colours were hard to make out and separate from others.Good for practise but I'm sure there's better books out there

I recently passed the initial SET's and purchased this book to to help me study with the information handling which I was most worried about. It didn't help in any way really, most of the tests in it are the same and it misses out a lot of the stuff you will probably come across in the actual test. I would recommend the maths one but not this one.

Bought all 3 for my husband who has been out of study for some time. They really did the trick and helped him with his timings to complete the assessments and definitely helped him revise for the exams. He passed first time!

Not too many tests inside the book , and the level of the tests are not even close to the real police tests.They give a brief ideea of how the tests are but the level of difficulty is very low .Poorly made
